Dedicated to hola_its_me because her story is what entertained me all day through rehearsal breaks. c:*
“Cosette?” It was Nicole, “I believe you have my phone”
“I see what you’re talking about that part of your hair does look a shade lighter.” Caleb covered. Boy was he smart. He had even unnoticeable slipped my sunglasses in my hand.
“See I told you! I can’t believe you didn’t believe me!”
“Well how was I to know that was possible?”
I peered over at Nicole, our cover must have worked, “Oh, sorry Nicole, I had to win a bet with Caleb.”
“No, it’s fine” She smiled at us, “Cosette’s just so odd, isn’t she?” Great Nicole. Just great. “I think we may have switched phones.”
“Oh sorry” I replied grabbing her phone out of my purse and taking mine, before slipping it into my own. This happened occasionally since our cases looked similar. We even sometimes went days on end before noticing. It was rather hilarious after all.
“There you are!” Aiden and a few of the others said noticing the three of us, “We figured we’d grab a bit of food, you guys up for coming with?”
Nicole flashed a smile, oh that classic Nicole smile, “Sure, we’d love to, but first Cosette and I want to go check out something we spotted. Meet you guys at the food court?”
The group gave us a nod, before heading off to go grab a bite to eat, and once they were out of hearing range my eyes flickered over to Nicole, “Please tell me there is actually something you want to check out.”
“Of course not.”
“Ugh. What is it Nicole?” I finally questioned her, it wasn’t like she had saw anything right?
“Was he about to kiss you!?” she exclaimed. Boy did she have one of those perfect girly squeals, you know, the ones you thought only existed in those drama tv shows? Yeah, that’s the one.
“Of course not! Besides I think he has a girlfriend anyway.”
“So you are interested in him!”
“I am not!”
“Don’t you dare lie to me. I’ve known you long enough to tell.”
I groaned brushing my hair from my face, “Maybe I find him interesting, but that doesn’t matter. I think he’d be a good friend.”
“A good BOYfriend.” she corrected.
I groaned, “That’s not what I mean.”
“Well he’s certainly interested in you. Can you not see that?”
“He isn’t.”
She threw her hands up in a joking manner, “Okay, okay! Just you wait.”

Once we left for lunch, not much happened. I found myself sort of curious as to where Nicole and Cosette ran off to, but I shrugged it off. It was none of my business. Instead I focused myself on Aiden who was talking up a storm, like always. Still, he was like my brother, even if he did ramble quite a bit, I couldn’t trade him for the world.
God, I sound cheesy.
Anyways, not much happened after lunch, Alex ran off with Aiden, the two seeming to be very enthusiastic about seeing who would loose their lunch first. To be honest, I didn’t know which to bet for. Either way, though, I stayed clear just encase one of them were to up chuck their meal.
I believe we made it back to the hotel around eight, everyone pretty exhausted. I couldn’t blame them, I could barely keep my eyes open on the ride back even if the car horns were rather loud. I found my way back to my room, changing into sweats, for it was what I enjoyed lounging around in, besides I tended to get up around two am for a midnight snack anyways, why not be prepared?
I walked out of my room, figuring I’d drop by Tomas’ room and ask him what time he’d be up, since we decided we’d take a quick jog before everyone else had plans settled, when I began to pass Cosette’s room. Perhaps I could just quickly drop by, after all I never really did get to give her an explanation of our awkward situation earlier.
I sighed at the thought, pushing the door open to reveal she wasn’t there. Huh. I closed the door before continuing down the hall, when I caught sight of her turning the corner. Where in the world was she going? Curiosity got the best of me I guess, for I followed her to the small cafe. Seemed like I wasn’t the only late night snacker, and I couldn’t help but grin at the thought.
“What do you have there?” I couldn’t help but ask as I walked up behind her, peeking over her shoulder. Well, not really peeking due to the fact I was nearly a foot taller than her, but you get the idea.
She seemed a bit surprised as she looked over at her shoulder at me, before I noticed the slight amused grin that had made it’s way onto her face. “Just a snack, what are you doing out and about?”
Boy was she good at flipping the table, I mentally cursed myself for not having a reason. Perhaps I’d have to actually come right out with it this time. “Can we talk?” I asked, pointing to a small corner table near the many large windows.

I observed Caleb carefully as he asked me if we could talk. What an odd question, especially at the place and time, but it really wasn’t like I could be like, ‘No I’d rather not.’
“Sure thing.” I finally spoke making my way to the table and sitting down. Hopefully this wasn’t something I really needed to sit down for. Why was I so nervous about this? It wasn’t like there was really anything that we needed to talk about...other than earlier today. Ugh.
“I know this is odd, but about earlier,” he seemed to be struggling with phrasing his words, “Did you ever live on a road called Rosebud when you were younger?”
I took a bite of my pop tart and my eye brows furrowed in confusion when he spoke, “I did actually...” I trailed off trying to find his point.
“Tell me Cosette, do you really not remember me?”
* Oh! Cliffhanger, don't kill me. xD
Anyways! Comment a good wattpad novel for me to read during rehearsal breaks, and the next chapter just might be dedicated to you. c: *
