Chapter 25

*Harry's POV*

"HARRY, HARRY! WHAT HAPPENED IN THERE?"

" WHY DID YOU SAVE THAT GIRL?"

" WHO IS SHE? "

"I SAW HER WITH YOU AND THE REST OF THE BAND AT THE AIRPORT IN AMERICA. WHAT'S HER NAME?"

"WHO WAS THAT GUY YOU WERE FIGHTING WITH?"

"WHO WERE THE OTHER TWO GIRLS THAT NIALL LEFT WITH?"

"HARRY!"

"HARRY!"

"HARRY!"

"HARRY WILL YOU PLEASE ANSWER?"

I hide my face from the camera flashes and keep my mouth shut and not answering any questions. The rush of anger went straight to my vampire and now my fangs threating to show as I try and control my temper.

"Paul hurry he's getting ready to lose it," Louis shouts.

"Everyone get out of the way! Move it!" Paul yells at the crowd. "Hang in there Harry the van is only a few feet away."

Soon I'm pushed into the van along with Louis, Zayn, Liam, and Paul. The van starts to move slowly through the crowd of screaming girls and paparazzi. I lean my head back on the seat and close my eyes trying to slow my breathing. I'm pretty sure one more second out there I would have lashed out and ruined my image a lot more than just beating up Jason. He deserved it though, he shouldn't have laid a hand on the girls especially my girl.

"Harry are you okay?" Liam asks placing a hand on my shoulder. I flinch under his touch but don't open my eyes.

"Don't, just leave me be. I'm fine."

"Okay," Liam says removing his hand.

I sit here in the same position for the entire drive back to Katy's flat and everyone stays quiet I can feel their eyes burning into me. I take one last deep breath and finally open my eyes and see everyone quickly look away as if they weren't watching me. I look around and see that Abby, Niall, Katy, and, Casey aren't in here.

"Where are the others?" I finally ask.

"They're at the flat, Katy teleported them there," Zayn says his watching me nervously.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I ask.

"You're eyes changed back there, someone saw them," he breathes.

"What?"

"They changed for one split second enough time for a fan to snap a picture."

"That's okay if she posts it people will just think it's photo shopped. He has bigger problems like getting caught beating the crap out of Jason," Liam says as we pull into the driveway.

The sight I see when we walk through the door nearly kills me Abby sitting on the couch holding an ice pack to her eye Katy and Niall are tending to Casey who is still coughing up blood. Liam walks over to them and I walk over to Abby and sit down next to her.

" Let me see your eye," I say gently pulling her hand away from her eye revealing her newly blackened eye. "I'm so sorry this happened to you." I say pulling her to my chest.

"It's okay it's not your fault," she says quietly.

"I'm your mate I'm supposed to protect you," I sigh into her hair. "It is my fault."

"Stop saying that," she whined pulling away to look at me with her good eye." What happened after we left?"

I laughed as Jason's scared face being pulled out of the crowd. "I beat him up. Wanna now why I did that?" I ask and she nods.
