Chapter 20

*Niall POV*

I lift my head from her stone cold neck watching in hope. I can't lose her, I just can't lose her. I watch her as my hope fades, her pale face doesn't change. She's gone and is never coming back.

"It's not gonna work guys. I'm done, I'm just.. done. I can't handle this anymore, it's obvious she's not coming back," I say looking up at everyone then back down at Casey and close my eyes trying to stop more tears from falling.

"I wouldn't speak to soon," Harry says,"Open you're eyes her colors coming back."

I open my eyes and look at her again. Harry was right her color is returning. My eyes widen as I'm not believing what I'm seeing. Her body shifts and her eyes open, but they aren't same beautiful blue that I saw earlier. They're more of a goldish color.

" N n Niall," she says bringing the tears back to my eyes, but this time they're happy tears and I let them fall."Why are you crying?"

"Because I thought I lost you."

"Oh What?"

"Nevermind," I smile.

"Why do I feel so weird?"

"Um. Well. You see...."

"I'm hungry," she frowns not letting me finish and that's okay with me. Wait a sec. SHE'S HUNGRY. SHE'S A VAMPIRE. OH NO!!

"Harry, Katy, get Abby out of here now!!!" I yell at them and they shove Abby down the hall into some room.

"Niall I'm hungry," Casey whines.

"I know baby. Boys what do we do?"

" Get her something drink," Louis says stating the obvious.

"I'm not thirsty I'm hungry and my stomach starting to hurt," Casey whines again.

"How are we going to get something fast, before she attacks Abby?"

"I'll go try and find her something just try to keep her under control," Zayn says before running off.

"Niall, my stomach hurts," Casey looks at me with pleading eyes. I notice something to confer her hunger...fangs.

"I know baby we're trying. Just hold on a second okay," I say watching her squirm in pain, how I hate to see her like this but we can't give her Abby. I know Abby would want to help her but she can't Casey might try and drain her, and that's why she's locked in a room with Katy and Harry to keep her safe.

'Zayn hurry she's starving. Where are you?'

'I'm on my way. I had to break into a blood bank!'

'You what!'

'Relax I'm kidding but I found some blood.'

'Okay just hurry'

'I'll be there in two minutes'

"Niall," she whines again. "What's wrong with me. Why are my teeth different and why am I so hungry? " she whines at the last part.

" There's nothing wrong with you but Zayn found you something and he's on his way back, okay. We'll explain a little more when you've eaten."

Zayn bust through the door," I'm back,"Zayn breathes handing me a sack blood. I'm curious to where he got it but I don't ask.

"Here bite this and drink," I say holding the sack in front of Casey's disgusted face.

"Gross I'm drinking .... blood," she gags. Why is she being so difficult?

" Look, do want to feel better and make your stomach stop hurting," I ask and she nods. "Then drink."

She looks at me in disgust before hesitantly biting and draining the bag within 3 minutes.

"Now are you still hungry?" I ask feeling like a over protective dad instead of her soon to be boyfriend.

"No, Why did I like it though? I'm mean it was blood," she asks sitting up on the couch.

"Like I said we have some explaining to do," I say nervously as she nods tellingly to go on with my explanation. "Um. Well do you remember getting hit by the car?" I ask and she nods again in reply. " Um well you sort of died."

"What? I died, if I died why am I awake and not in a hospital or something?" she says raising her tone a little.

"That's what I'm trying to tell you. I brought you back to life. Well sort of anyway," I sigh.

"What do you mean sort of?" she asks.

"Well let's just say your undead," I say while she gives me a confused look as I continue."Please don't freak out, but you're a vampire," I say quickly but slow enough to understand.

Her eyes widen in realization but fall back to their normal state fast. She takes a deep breath before saying," Okay." Her simple tone leaving me confused.

"Okay? That's it? Why aren't you freaking out?" I ask earning a stifled laugh from Louis and Zayn. I forgot they were in here.

"Because it doesn't freak me out. I knew there was something different about all of you when we met. I just didn't know what and now it makes perfect sense," she says.

"Boys go tell them they can bring Abby back in here, and that Casey is fine," I say and the boys disappear down the hall.

I can't resist much longer as soon as they are out of sight I lean in and kiss Casey and to my surprise she kisses back, but pushes me away a few seconds later.

"Why did you stop?"

"I I cant do this," she says with a .... scared? expression.

I'm about to ask why but Louis and Zayn come back followed by Katy, Abby, and Harry.
