*Abby's POV*

Harry and I are our way home from our first date, the radio is blaring in the car playing one of Harry's favourite songs, Use somebody. He reached over and turned up the volume as soon as it started.

" I've been roaming around always looking down and all I see," he started singing along.

" Painted faces, fill the places I can't reach

I've been roaming around,

Always looking down and all I see," he finishes as we pull up in the drive way smiling at me as he puts the car in park.

"What," I ask as he continues to stare at me.

"I just can't believe how lucky I am to have a mate like you. Your perfect and I wouldn't trade you for anyone else," he smiles getting out of the car and opening the door for me. As I get to my feet he leans in and kisses me on the cheek sweetly. " I love you, Abby," he smiles taking my hand and leading me up the front steps.

Thinking back on what Harry just told me, about not wanting to trade me for anyone else, I realise I feel the same about him. He's the perfect gentleman, even if he didn't tell me that for the date we were taking a walk to a stream near his Moms place.

We had went to see Anne, I finally got to meet her and she is probably the sweetest woman I've ever met. We left the car there and walked outside, I was wearing heels and so he had to carry me all the way to the stream because he was afraid I would break my ankle and then it would be all his fault. When we got there he let me down and we sat and talked, we skipped stones on the water and when it started to get dark he, again carried me all the way back to the house.

Harry reached for the door knob as it swung open quickly to reveal Niall, his hair damp with sweat.

"Hey Niall, what's up?" Harry asked trying to walk past him.

"Harry, get Abby out of here now!" Niall spoke frantically.

"Why, what's wrong?" I looked over to Harry as a loud bang sounded through the flat followed by screams.

"That's sounded like Casey!" I say pushing past Niall into the flat.

"No, Abby, stop! Stay away from her!" Niall yells at me. Something about his tone of voice made me stop and turn to him.

"Why, what's wrong with her? Why is she screaming like that?" I ask.

"She hasn't hunted like she's supposed to and her vampire took over. She on a blood rage," Niall speaks quickly.

"Casey, come back," Liam shouts as another loud bang rings through the hall.

"I need blood! " she yells, her voice deeper the normal. Another loud bang sounds as a door swings open.

"Casey!" Louis and Liam shout at the same time.

"Get out of here, now!!" Niall says trying to push me towards the door, but I'm frozen in my spot not able to look away from the sight down the hall.

Casey is hissing, her face pale, golden eyes glowing, as Louis and Liam are trying to hold her against the wall waiting for me to leave to let her go. Casey pushes against them trying to break free of their grip.

"Blood, I need blood, I smell blood," She yells pushing them harder clawing at their arms.

" Abby, Get out!" Harry and Niall yell. I feel Harry tug at my arm but it's like Im in some sort of trance. "Abby," Harry yells in ear.

I apparently snap out of the trance and look towards Harry," Come on let's go," he says pulling me by the arm.

"Casey, No!!" Niall yells as she breaks free from Louis' and Liam's hold.

I start to run towards the door only to have her jump on top of me and look me in the eye as Niall trys to pry her off of me. She throws him backwards with her vampire strength making his back hit the wall a few feet away Liam rushes over to help him. Harry and Louis are yelling at Casey Louis running over to me trying to help me but ended up like Niall but this time hitting his head on the wall knocking him out. I keep eye contact with Casey, I see Harry slowly moving towards us out of the cover of my eye. Zayn is running through the door with what looks like some kind of animal in his hands.

Harry inches closer and closer and grabs Casey by her shirt pulling her off me for a split second and she slams him down on the floor. She looks at one last time before she latches onto my neck.

The pain is unbearable. I can feel the blood draining from my system, the pinch of her teeth through my skin, and her lips sucking harshly on my neck. My vision blurs as she pulls away her eyes are blue and full of guilt as she realises what she did.

"Abby, oh my god, Abby. I'm so sorry," she sobs as Harry pulls her away from me.

He says something to me but I can't make it out through the buzzing sounding through my ears. Harry brushes the hair away from my face as something wet falls on my cheek, Is he crying?

I want to tell him not to cry but I'm to weak and the darkness is. slowly pulling me under my eyes getting heavier and heavier.

Zayn's voice rings through my ear along with Casey's sobs. I turn my head slightly and see Zayn pointing at the door as she run out. Harry turns my head back to him another tear falling on my cheek.

"I love you," he whispers in my ear as the darkness pulls me under my heavy eyelids closing shut.
