"Sir, do you hear anyone talking?" I ask a random old man, while Dumbass follows behind pushing the cart.

"What?! Sorry dear, I can't hear you!" the old man shouts, leaning forward. I take a step back and rapidly shake my head, totally taken back.

I hear a snort from behind me, causing me to turn back and glare at the dumbass whos staring at me in amusement, he raises his eyebrows and smiles.

Realising that I have made his presence known, I squint my eyes and look around him, pretending to find someone or something,

"Must be Casper" I sigh, shrugging my shoulders and continue walking ahead.

"Ava, we already made eye contact" Kai sings, totally enjoying this, "anyways come on, it's not like you could've hidden her forever."

Kai had to go ahead and tell Liam about Adaline, who came straight away and toke her away and since then I've been ignoring Kai for betraying me, but I still decided to come grocery shopping for the sake of my one true love, food.

"I could've tried, tried to keep her from monsters like you,"I exaggerate, folding my arms and huffing, while looking to the side

"Excuse me" he gaps dramatically, with a hand on his heart

"Yes-" I start but get cut off as he walks past me saying "You spoke to me."

"What? NO!" I protest, following behind him, "no I didn't! I was speaking to Casper,"

"Still speaking to me," he whistles,

I groan in annoyance and follow behind dumbass while looking around, but apparently, he wanted to randomly stop, causing me to slam into his back and bounce backwards

What the hell is his back made of?

"Hello, cutie," Winks the guy who caught me from falling

A hand wraps around mine, pulling me forward, "No" I hear Kai say and looking up to find him giving the guy a blank look.

The guy puts his hands up in surrender and smiles, "I swing for the other team,"

Kai turns us both around, in front of the cart, trapping me in, his hands on both of the handles of the cart and moves forward, "You stay here, don't need you falling for other people," he mutters

"Awh is Kaipoop jealous, you want some peanut butter with that jelly," I tease,

"That reminds me, we do need peanut butter and jelly," he mumbles, suddenly turning the trolley to the left, I snigger and keep walking ahead, my back touching Kai's chest.

After a lot of shopping and eating, we decide to go home.

As soon as Kai pulls up in front of the house, I push the doors open and run, ignoring Kais calls and running past 2 random people
