Guys thank you so much for the reads and votes! I was checking my Wattpad on my phone and it says this book is ranked 737 in action! That's personally awesome to me as this is my first time! Thank you guys so much!
It had been several hours and we were still stuck on this plane. I didn't mind being on it but I definitely preferred having my paws on solid ground. Kurt was slouched on his side leaning against a wall. He was sleeping with his military hat covering his eyes. I stood up and wandered to the back of the plane. I passed other men on the plane and some reached out and petted me. I reached the back and sniffed around. I found a hole where light came out of. I stuck my face near it and looked out. It was daylight and I saw sand and an ocean. We were somewhere above Norway and far away from the sandy place I had been trained at for several weeks. I stuck my head back up and made my way back to Kurt. I tripped over a man who had his boots sticking out in the aisle. I turned to look at whose shoes they were and a man moved his legs. He bent over and tapped my head. "Sorry buddy" he said. I wagged my tail back at him and continued to make my way to Kurt. Kurt was still slouched sleeping. I looked up at him and decided I wanted to sleep. I jumped up next to him on a seat making the guy next to Kurt scoot further away. I laid down in Kurts lap and put my head down on my paws. I closed my eyes drifting to sleep feeling Kurts body heat against mine.
"Wake up Tye we're here" Kurt said. I opened my eyes to see men exiting the plane. I must of been a heavy sleeper because I didn't hear the plane land at all. I jumped down from Kurts lap and waited for him. He walked to get our belongings and we headed off the plane. Norway looked different then I pictured it to be. It was sandy but it still had forestry of its own. There was a lot more military staffing and vehicles than our training facility. Men exiting the plane walked in all directions towards their stations. A young military guy who was probably about 25 approached us. "Hey you guys must be the new members of Ghost squad. My names Beck I'm the leader". Kurt shook his hand and Beck looked down at me. "Well I'm glad you guys made it we could really use your help" Beck said. Kurt looked over at me and responded "I'm sure Tye can be of some use". A plane flew over our heads and I looked up, watching it pass by. Beck motioned for us to follow him. I followed right next to Kurt and our new leader. I really hope he had bacon treats. Bacon treats would make this place perfect to me. We came upon a building made of wood and cobblestone. This was our new home. Beck showed us our bunk and room. 'You guys can stay here, it used to be our old member's spot but you can have it now. There's a bathroom down the hall on your left and a kitchen to your right" Beck said, pointing down the hall. Kurt nodded and thanked him. "Oh and don't worry about the other guys you'll probably see them around here and they'll introduce themselves" Beck added. "Ok thanks" Kurt said. Beck left and we started to unpack.
After some time we were finally settled down and tired. It was probably about 1 or 2 in the afternoon now. Kurt was laying on the bed looking over the information Sergeant had given us before we shipped out. I put my head on his knee and moved my ears back. I stared up at him with my big eyes waiting for him to look at me. He moved his hand and ran it through my fur. Kurt put the papers down and looked at me. " you hungry boy? I could go for some food right now" Kurt whispered. I wagged my tail in agreement and moved away from him. He stood up, grabbed my food bowl and we walked to the kitchen. It was a big kitchen with a table that could probably hold 4-5 people. A guy in military boots and uniform was sitting at the table eating food. He looked over and his brown eyes locked with Kurts. "You new here? I haven't seen you around here before" the stranger said. "Yeah actually. My dog and I were assigned to Ghost Squad yesterday" Kurt responded. The stranger looked over to me then back to Kurt. "Welcome to the team I'm Brock. I usually do any driving or flying for the team. I guess you could call me your taxi" Brock joked. Kurt smiled back and fist bumped Brock. "Cool bro nice to meet you I'm Kurt and that's my dog Tye" Kurt responded. Brock stood up and threw his plate of food in the nearby trash can. "If you ever need anything just let me know I've got you" Brock said before leaving the kitchen. Kurt opened the fridge and rummaged around. I sat by the chair Brock had sat in and watched Kurt. He grabbed a can of soda and looked at it for a second before deciding he was going to take it. He fixed a sandwich and made my normal food in my bowl. We ate our dinner in silence and then headed back to our room to rest.
