Hey guys I'm so sorry for a lack of updates these past months I've been super busy but here's a small update for the New Years. I'll be posting more soon!!!
General? Who was General and how did Chris know him? Did that mean we were going to be saved? Chris stared into the mans eyes as he leaned against the table. "What are you doing here"? Chris choked out of his dry mouth. "You think I knew all the enemies plans by sitting around?" The General smiled as he tried to read Chris's face. I scooted closer to my cage door, on edge at what was happening in front of me. "Damn you and everything you did to us!" Chris raged as he tried to stand up out of his seat.
"Relax Mr. Peterson your still under my authority. Mess up and I'll have you charged." This guy was really starting to piss me off. Chris shifted uncomfortably in his chair and gritted his teeth with annoyance. "You'll pay for what you've done and to think you were actually a good General for once in your damn life!"
The General seemed even more pleased as he leaned closer to Chris's face. "We'll win and you and your men will suffer just as mine have". Chris stared back in anger "My men? How about all the men who died under you? Does Clint not matter? You'll pay and I'll make sure even if it's the last thing I do" Chris said through his locked jaw before spitting in the Generals face.
The General calmly wipes his face before slowly retreating to the door. "I hope you change your mind before I have to put a bullet through your head Mr. Peterson it would be a shame after all you were the best one yet". The door slammed behind him and Chris stared at the ground, his face red from anger. I wanted to run to him and lick his face and comfort him, do anything to ease his mind and make him crack a smile but I was stuck in this cage.
A few moments later the door flung open and two men from earlier came in. They approached Chris and one yanked his head back. "Time for some fun" one of them said as he swung his fist into Chris's face. I whined as Chris's head when back and he grunted. The man pulled on Chris's hair and pushed him forward. The other man swung into his torso, causing Chris to let out a small cry.
My mind raced as they abused Chris. I grew angry and began to bark at the two men. I wanted to rip their throats out and make them scream. I continued to bark and growl till one of them finally said something to me. "Shut the hell up you damn mutt! You want to be next?!" The man screamed at me as a vein popped out of his face.
I growled louder and pushed myself against the cage door desperately trying to get out. I was furious at this point I wanted to kill both of them and the General. I was tired of being patient and nice to get back to Kurt. This was war now!
The man eventually quit hurting Chris and left the room. Chris leaned over as blood dripped off his face and down onto the floor. I whined at him and he looked over to me. "It's ok boy. We'll make it". His lasts words sounded like a whisper to me as his leaned forward in his chair and closed his eyes.
I stared at Chris as he fell asleep. His breathing slowed and I watched his chest rise and fall. He looked so peaceful and he reminded me of Kurt sleeping. I sighed out loud and cried for the first time.
My heart throbbed for Kurt, to be around him, his smell, his warmth, and hear his voice call my name. I would give up anything for Kurt and I desperately wanted to be next to him. I whined as my thoughts were flooded with memories of Kurt. I closed my eyes as tears rolled down my face.
