Gun fire passed my ear and I ran harder towards a building. I entered it as my paws hit the hard ground and bounced off. Two guys stood crouched by the entrance, one with a gun and the other laying beside him bleeding from a shot wound to the shoulder. I tackled and chomped into the guy holding the gun. He spun around and I spun with him as he tried to throw me off. I dug in deeper and then I put my back paws on his torso. He grabbed me by the neck with his free hand just as I pushed off his torso, ripping part of his skin from his arm off. I fell into the ground as the guy grabbed his arm, screaming something. I took off running again at him with the taste of blood lingering in my mouth. He moved his gun towards me trying to get an aim but I was already lunging at him again, this time I was aiming at his throat. I jumped at him and he held his hand gun at my face and I collided with it. My face hit his gun causing it to fall out his hand and skid across the ground. I landed on his chest and he grabbed me.
He again tried to pull me off him but I aimed for his neck that was inches away from my face. I opened my jaw and snapped down just as he pulled me off of him. I was held in the air as I gripped his neck, holding on for dear life. He grew angrier and gripped me harder , trying to pull me off his neck. I pressed my jaw against his neck harder and my teeth sunk in past his muscles. He moved backwards and hit the wall behind him as he struggled for air. I just gripped harder and harder till the life drained out of him. He slumped down and slid down the wall. I let go of his neck and turned around to face his wounded friend.
Blood poured on to the floor and the wounded man soaked in blood. He didn't move as I walked closer to him but I could see a faint rise and fall of his chest. He wasn't a threat to me or my group so I decided to let him bleed to death. I pushed past him and back outside. Gun fire seemed to calm down and less was exchanged between us and the enemies. I headed west towards some enemy vehicles where 4 or 5 squatted behind. I couldn't take on all of them at one time so I decided to move closer, hoping I could take at least one by surprise. Some of the men stood up and started firing at the barricades. One was completely distracted so I took my chance and started to run over. Everyone was yelling and the gun fire grew louder. I was just about to pounce on the unsuspecting man when something landed between me and the vehicles. It was green and round without a pin stuck in it. I had seen one before used in training and whenever it was used things would blow up so I knew I had to move quickly. I took off running back to where I had came and sand exploded, flying past me and on me. I landed on my side as everything around me rung in my ear.
The men that were by the vehicles were either crawling in the sand or were blown apart. The vehicles were on fire and only one was still in decent condition. I shook myself off and ran towards the gunfire of my enemies. I heard someone faintly yell in the barricades "Fall back there's too many! Move soldiers now! I don't care he's not important lets go now Solider! Move Move Move!". I stopped in my tracks and wondered what they were doing.
