Okay this isn't a one shot, but I have this theory/ headcannon that I really needed to share with someone. You know how Umbridge had that quill that would cut into your skin and actually pain you, well this isn't something students wouldn't notice, so their must of been some students who were depressed/ suicidal/ wanted to self harm who would purposely get in trouble so they could hurt themselves without being questioned about why they would want to cut. This is really sad theory but it seems realistic in a way to me. Sorry if you think it's wrong to think about this or that I mentioned it but I just needed to tell someone, many apologies
