Link was standing in front of the mirror and stared at his reflection. He doesn't know what to think anymore, the arguing made everything worse than it already was. Taking a few steps back, he turned around and looked at your bed, Link felt the anger coming back, but this time mixed with pity and sadness. Was it his fault for being too much into the role of 'the hero'? Or was it possibly just your overreacting? He is clueless, and so are you. Link hopes you will come back soon, but oh boy, you weren't coming back so soon.
"Ugh, what should I do?"

Your POV
Since I ran away from our stay in Kakariko, I was able to build and repair an old cottage I found on my way to Hateno. It wasn't that neat at first, but it gave me some safety and protection from enemies and it was just for a day. I will try to rent a flat or house in Hateno, I heard that the bills aren't as expensive as in Kakariko.
It was early in the morning, about 5 AM to be exact. The sun was once again rising into the deep blue night sky to fill the day with brightness. With sleepy eyes, I got up from my small nap, packed my new stuff in my bag, got clean in a lake -which was near my stay- and prepared my equipment. My bag was heavy and it made climbing up some mountains much worse, but I belive in myself. I can do this on my own and I will show Lin- No, I will not say this name ever again, I am still angry at him.
I was careful on my way, being chased by monsters and killed by guardians would be the last thing I wanted in my life. I am not a skilled sword fighter yet, so maybe I will be able to find someone who can teach me.
Humming my favourite lullaby, I happily wandered down the path and was greeded by an villager, "Hello young lady, are you a traveler?"
I stopped and put down my bagpack for a while, "Uh, yes, I guess I am. May I know why you ask?"
The young man nodded and crossed his arms, "I see. Well, we didn't get many travelers the past few years, it's rare to see a hylian people these days, especially women."
"Wait, so this village here is Hateno? This means you have an Ancient Tech Lab, am I right?"
"Yes, we do. It's right up there on this hill," he pointed at a giant telescope which was quite impressive indeed, "though, I suggest you should get a stay first. We have some skilled builders here and I think they would do it for free."
My eyes sparkled at this thought, 'having a flat just for myself sounds wonderful!'
"So you really think I am allowed to stay here for a while? That's great! Thank you so much, Sir!"The young man just smiled at me and showed me the village, including talking to some builders, which were happy to help me. I can't wait to move here~! I checked my Slate and was wondering what time it was. After realizing it was already afternoon, I slowly made my way up to the Tech Lab with something to drink and my weapons. The milk tasted like heaven and I got sad as I saw the almost empty bottle in my hands.
I eventually arrived the labor and checked my Sheikah Slate once again. Great, it took me 30 minutes to arrive here, which means I need 30 minutes again to get back to Hateno Village... Why does Link have the Paraglider anyway?!
Oh, right, I almost forgot him. It should actaully be like this.
As I knocked on the door, I was greeted by-- a child?!
"Hey, don't look at me like that! Have you never seen an old beautiful woman before?"
I got perplexed as she mentioned "old woman". She doesn't look like one at all and the voice is also not suitable for an older woman.. I guess...
"U-uh, I am sorry about that... But, this is the Ancient Tech Lab of Hateno, right?"
The young- er, older woman nodded,
"Yes! Come in, come in~ What brings you here?"
I sighed a little and sat down on a wooden chair and handed her my Sheikah Slate, told her about everything I know and also told her about my destiny. After this, she checked my Slate and did some updated with it. I was now able to view some photos from 100 years ago, but no one knew who made them... It wasn't me I suppose, because I wouldn't capture Hyrules ugliness during the war, along with almost dying soldiers and Calamity Ganons victory. My eyes widened at these scenes and the woman - her name was Purah - immediately closed the album.
"Looks like the original owner of this Sheikah Slate was interested in Hyrules wrecking... Maybe you should go to Impa, she always knows what to do."
And that's what I did. But before I start my short journes again, I stayed a day in Hateno and wrote everything in my diary. These pictures I found earlier were scary. They didn't show anything that would cause endless nightmares, but the thought about someone having my Sheikah Slate and capturing terrible things sent shivers down my spine...
It was already 2 AM as I decided to finally go to sleep, so I changed into my lighter clothes, let my eyes fall down and dreamland consume me.

This chapter got a little longer than expected, but I guess the longer it is, the better it will be.
By the way, thank you all for your ideas, I really appreciated them and try to fulfill your wishes if possible. I already had a plan for the Reader (which will get revealed soon), so changes and suggestions about Reader-chans past may not be possible >.<
Anyway, hope you enjoyed this chapter despite my terrible writing!
