Chapter 8 - Getting closer to the truth

"Looks like the original owner of this Sheikah Slate was interested in Hyrules wrecking... Maybe you should go to Impa, she always knows what to do."

And that's what I did. But before I start my short journes again, I stayed a day in Hateno and wrote everything in my diary. These pictures I found earlier were scary. They didn't show anything that would cause endless nightmares, but the thought about someone having my Sheikah Slate and capturing terrible things sent shivers down my spine...

It was already 2 AM as I decided to finally go to sleep, so I changed into my lighter clothes, let my eyes fall down and dreamland consume me.

Memory Dream

I opened my eyes slowly and tried to get a clear vision of the area in front of me. I couldn't move by my own, it was like I was being controlled by something powerful... I examined myself and noticed that this wasn't my body. Instead of (s/c) skin, it was dark gray with some glowing red scales at some parts. I panicked a little at this, but got interrupted by a very loud crash coming from the room I was in. It looked like the inside of Hyrule Castle, but I wasn't sure about this, since I didn't know how it actaully looks.

As I looked at the damaged wall, I noticed some gunpowder and bombs. I guess someone wants to break in? I wish I could move, but all I was able to do was moving my eyes, not even speaking was easy... Suddenly, hundrets of Hyrule soldies rushed into the room, not noticing me at all. I heard more explosions and painful screams coming from the other side of the castle... Why can't I move?! I wish this would end already...

Finally, a soldier noticed my presence and walked towards be, but quickly backed away as he saw me. Do I really look that disgusting or why is he going away and looking at me like that?
"Captain, this is not good! RETREAT!"
