i didn't know what to do. all these feeling were piling up and my brain just couldn't function to this point...i'm crazy for her.

"justin?" i heard a familiar voice behind me.

i sighed and turned around slowly, seeing jackson standing there with a bag of food in his hand.

"what are you doing here?"

i twisted my lips and scratched the back of my neck nervously.

"well you see uh...i just thought about how—how much i missed seeing you bro." i blurted, feeling my words crumble as i continue to spoke. "we should hang out soon."

jackson raised his eyebrows and gave me a look.

"really? i thought you were gonna hate me forever—"

"nah man!" i blurted excitedly. "bros for life!" i cheered as i nervously punched him in the shoulder.

"wow okay then. let's hang out right now then, come inside." he smiled.

"oh no no i can't." i quickly stammered. "i have to go uh cook for my mom—yeah she hasn't been feeling too great...maybe another day?"

"sure dude." he walked towards the door.

"see ya." i shouted as i jogged towards the car and hopped in.

as i drove off, i couldn't keep this situation out of my head. i had to tell kelsey today, if i didn't...i wouldn't be able to live with myself.

once i parked my car, i sat in it for a while as i flipped out my phone and went to messages.
