"mom! when we were buying ice cream this evening, i saw oppa's girlfriend," najung said, excitedly while they're having dinner together. mrs kim stop eating and look at namjoon. fiercely.

"what?? no! its just someone i know from school," namjoon explained.

"but she said she's going to be your girlfriend soon???" najung innocently blurted out. namjoon felt his organs shrinking every time that little girl said something.

"mom its really not!"

mrs kim exhale a deep sigh. "honey, look at your son now." his dad just shakes his head and laugh. "son, its okay for you to be friends with girls. but know your limits, study is your priority. don't play around, last exam you were top student. remember?"

"that's right. you know its not easy for you to get into that school right? you must work hard." mrs kim continued.

"yes mom, dad." namjoon got his head down while answering that. i'm screwed.

remembering that conversation last night, again he sighed. strangely, he didn't blame hani at all, he just regret that he actually got a girlfriend before, without his parents knowing.

"is that why i've been slacking off lately?" he said, while walking to school. "thats right. i paid attention to my phone more than my books. even when jina didn't even reply me. uh what a fool," he suddenly woke.

with a strong determination, he promised to himself that he'll forget that girl. as he's getting to school, namjoon noticed that the bus already left the stop. a lot of people get off from that bus, but he didn't see seol hani anywhere.

is she absent─ wait. why i'm asking anything about her? its good that she's not there. i won't be late. his face lighten up and he's walking  faster to reach that school gate. worrying if that girl magically appears from nowhere and bring trouble to him again.

"thank god i'm early." he mumbled as he gets into the gate. "well that's a good start." he smiles in satisfaction. but somehow, it doesn't last long when he saw jina with a senior ; min yoongi walking while holding hands. attracting everyone's attention.

'i don't want anyone to know about our relationship. its not embarrassing or anything but i just want to keep it between us. our little  secret okay?'

her lies keep repeating in his head. he tried not to mind it but its just hurt. "i spoke too soon. what a good way to start a day," his steps getting slower and weaker.

"KIM NAMJOON WAIT!!"

suddenly a scream from behind roared around the school compound. namjoon felt everyone is looking at his direction now. including yoongi and jina. slowly, he turn around and saw hani is waving her hand while running towards him.

"wait for me!!" hani quickly grabs his hand and pants heavily. "oi nerd, why are you walking so fast─ i keep calling you from the gate but you didnt hear me─ oh god that was a crazy exercise in the morning."

shamelessly, she rest her head on his shoulder while they're walking. namjoon push her away. "why are you sticking to me?"

"do i appear to be a little thin to you perhaps? i think i lose 3 pounds from that running." ignoring him, hani asked.

"that's impossible. you just ran about 40m, what do you mean losing weight?" namjoon scoffed. but remember you have to run at the field before? you don't seems tired that day though.

"isn't that your ex??" hani suddenly exclaimed. "oh. my. god. how gross."

"whatever," namjoon quickly changed the topic. "i don't see you getting off the bus though?"
