The MBTI indicator includes sixteen types which, just like I mentioned earlier, are seperated in eight introverted and eight extroverted ones. Let's see them all, along with the explanation of each type's 4 letters.
The introverted types:
1) ISTJ= Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging.
2) ISFJ= Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging.
3) INFJ= Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging.
4) INTJ= Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging.
5) ISTP= Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving.
6) ISFP= Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving.
7) INFP= Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceiving.
8) INTP= Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Perceiving.
The extroverted types:
1) ESTP= Extroverted, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving.
2) ESFP= Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving.
3) ENFP= Extroverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceiving.
4) ENTP= Extroverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Perceiving.
5) ESTJ= Extroverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging.
6) ESFJ= Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging.
7) ENFJ= Extroverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging.
8) ENTJ= Extroverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging.
Once you have taken the online tests I suggested in the last part, you need to check the complete list of traits of the personality type you got as a result and then compare that type's traits with every other type's traits in the category/temperament that describes you (introverted or extroverted one). You need to know if you are an introvert, an extrovert or an ambivert and once you know that, you need to compare your test's result with every single type that is in your temperament so you can properly search and identify your accurate type.
For example:
Suppose that you took several online tests and the main result in most of them was the ISFJ type. Now, you already know that you're an introvert so you have no doubts about your temperament. But while your test's result does seem to describe and explain a lot of things about your personality, something seems to simply not...'do it' for you. It just doesn't feel right...so you want to do a little research among the introverted types to make sure that the online test didn't mistype you.
What you need to do, is to open a page that includes full analytical description of all the introverted types or of all the MBTI types anyway, and carefully read the listed traits of each of the eight introverted types,until you can actually find the one that you can identify with, the most. It goes without saying that you do the same if you're an extrovert or an ambivert, as well.
Read all the personalities listed and their traits and compare them to yourself and your character's traits. That is actually the most efficient way by which you can figure out your type on your own. That's exactly what I did as well and it's the only way I was able to find my true type. I've always known that I'm an introvert, I simply never had the right term for it. So when I started taking online tests, I was diving into new deep waters and that resulted in me being confused by my results and misguided. When I first took the online tests, a couple of them determined that I'm an INFJ while a couple others defined me as an INTJ. At first I was pretty sure the first result was the right one...until I did my own research and realized that my original and true type was a totally different one. But the moment I found and read the full description of my true type was also the moment that the result finally 'hit home'.
So before you get all enthusiastic and start writing and sharing posts about your type, make sure that you haven't in fact got mistyped. No online test can be taken for granted if proper research hasn't been conducted first. You are the one who can define and determine your type after some very careful reading, not a website.
