Brianna's POV
Today Im trying out for quidditch! I convinced Heather to try out for Slytherin but she was not excited. apparently she hates all sports. I went over to Oliver Wood and introduced myself. I noticed Harry looking at me and it made me blush.
"Hi, Im Brianna, and Im gonna be the keeper," I told him.
"Well im the keeper so..." he said kinda arrogantly.
"I bet you anything that Im better than you," I replied. he looked shocked that the shy girl was speaking out.
"well let's test ya out," he sighed. I looked over at Heather and she was hanging from her broom. I laughed to myself. she really was quite bad. I hopped on my broom and went up to the goal posts. I blocked most everything that came at me. once we were done I went over to Oliver.
"Well you're good, but im making you a chaser" he said walking away. I stood there shocked and crushed. I didn't want to be chaser, I wanted to be a keeper. but whatever. I went over to Heather who was covered in dirt.
"Never again am I letting you talk me into something!" she yelled.
"Aw you didn't get on?" I sighed.
"No, even worse! I did!" she sobbed. I looked shocked. "Im back up seeker, for Malfoy!"
"Oh geez...Im sorry, but maybe it wont be so bad." I tried cheering her up.
"Oh no? theyre having Malfoy give me private practices to make me better! why would they even let me join?!" she yelled.
"Cuz I convinced them you were worth while, I look forward to our lessons," malfoy said winking at her when he walked by. She laid on the ground.
"Im done, im done, im done, do the avada kedavra on me now, im done" she mumbled. I laughed but stopped at the sight of Harry Potter walking my way.
"Hi, Brianna, right?" he asked.
"Uh um uh......" I babbled.
"Yes that's Brianna, Im heather, both charmed to meet you, Ill be going now" Heather said getting up and trudging away.
"Is she alright?" he asked chuckling.
"haha um yeah I think so" I smiled shyly.
"Well I just wanted to come over and say that you were really amazing out there, and Im glad we will get to be on the team together," he blushed. Aww!
"thanks, and Im glad too, well I'll see ya around" I told him. He nodded and smiled. I walked off in Heather's direction and she was smirking at me.
"What?" I asked.
"What do you mean what?! getting all googly eyed at the chosen one" she raised her eye brows. "you know he speaks parsletongue, you gonna let him in your chamber of secrets?" (boom, I went there)
"Oh my god! Im gonna get you!" I yelled as she ran off in a fit of laughter. we ran back to the great hall and played some chess before dinner. this is actually fun here, now that I have a friend and im part of a team. I feel accepted! (aww!)
