You like me, don't you? You just told me to shut up? It's ok...I like you too. For a while, I was afraid to put myself out there because I wasn't ready for another empty place in my heart. Now I trust you at least to return my feelings. You like me. We established this as the truth, right?

Part 13~

I was stacking some books into my locker and preparing for my last class of the day when there was a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see a dark haired girl with sharp eyes holding a bag with a bow. It was a girl from Rachael's group, Kang Ye Sol. I sighed and closed my locker door before giving her my attention. "What do you want? To bully me face to face? Please save it because there are many other people in line in front of you to do so." I crossed my arms. She simply bowed to me and apologized over and over. Then she held the bag out to me. "What it this?" I grabbed it and furrowed my brows. "It's a gift to apologize how I've treated you. Today, Young Do has been going around school threatening everyone about you. He even went into the girls bathroom without permission. Because I really like Young Do, and because Rachael did something very mean to me last year that I shouldn't have forgiven her for, I want to apologize to you." Kang Ye Sol explained to me. I rolled my eyes and turned my head. "I don't need you to pity me because of Young Do. Please get lost." She looked at me sadly and started to walk away. Of course I couldn't be mean in return because I'm just not that cruel hearted. "Yah! Kang Ye Sol..." I rushed up to her and sighed. "I'm staying in Young Do's hotel on the same floor as him. Young Do has feelings for me, but if you want to come over and have a sleep over in the hopes you can get his attention, I don't mind it." As soon as I said this, she pulled me into a hug. "Thank you." After school, Kang Ye Sol followed , me to the hotel and to my room. I was actually surprised at how nice she was and how easy it was to get along with her.

"Lillian? I don't understand. If you're in the social care group at school, how can you afford to stay at Hotel Zeus?" She asked me as I searched through the demand section to find us a movie to watch. "I told you it was because Young Do has feelings for me." I admitted to her again. She nodded and looked away. "It's still worth a shot...getting him to like me instead." Ye Sol said hopefully. Then she turned to look at me with a pout. "When are you going to open the gift I got you?" She asked me. I chuckled and nodded. I quickly reached for the bag. When I opened it up, I noticed the assortment of sweets and cookies that were inside. I smiled widely and thanked her for the gift. Eventually we had settled down and started watching the movie together. Every night for the rest of the week Kang Ye Sol and I grew closer and closer together. By the time Thursday had come, we could have been considered to be best friends. There was soon a knock at the door as Kang Ye Sol and I were flipping through magazines and picking out some of the best fashions. I went to see who it was and I was surprised to see Young Do at the door. "What are you doing here? Where have you been for the entire week? Why are you being so polite as to knock instead of barging in?" I asked him. He looked a little angry before replying to me. "Did you not read my text that I sent you Monday night? I told you I work with the hotel staff sometimes just to show some incentive to ownership of the hotel. Why didn't you read it or text me back all week? Are you in here with someone?" He pushed past me and sighed in relief (but also annoyance) when he saw Kang Ye Sol. "Choi Young Do!" She stood up and smoothed out her hair. Then she gave an excited bow and strode across the room to give him a hug. He immediately pushed her away. "Get out. I have to talk to Lillian." He said sternly. "But..." Before she could get another word out, Young Do nearly shouted. "GET OUT!" Kang Ye Sol quickly gathered her things and rushed out of the room with teary eyes. I wanted to chase after her, but Young Do had slammed the door and locked us in with each other.

"Young Do, that was not nice at all!" I fussed at him. I glared at him angrily and put my hands on my hips. "So??? When the kids bully you at school, why do you end up inviting them to sleep over instead of getting revenge?" He seemed to scold me. I popped him in the chest and went to sit on my bed. "Kang Ye Sol is different than that. Besides, she apologized and I actually really like her being around. I don't like YOU being around because you seem to become meaner than the kids at school. Actually, no on has even bullied me lately so you should mind your own business and stop chasing away the people I care about!" I fussed back at him. He instantly rushed to my side and his face was mere inches from mine. I could feel myself freeze up in that moment. "I'm the reason those kids stopped bullying you in the first place. Besides, I want to be the only one you spend time with in this room. Consider it a form of payment, since I waived all of your fees here." He then pulled away to smirk at me. "Now, get packed. Bo Na said to be packed because we're leaving tomorrow. Did you forget that?" Young Do asked me. I shook my head and tried to stop it...but I couldn't stop it. I just couldn't stop what came next..."Are you...crying?" He asked me, kneeling immediately in front of me. I shook my head but I continued to cry. "Choi Young Do...You're honestly too much. I just wanted to spend time with a new friend and you yell at her? She really liked you." I continued to sniffle. He scoffed and pulled a cloth out of his pocket to wipe away my tears. "She liked me? So??? I don't care about her, because I told you already that I like you only. As for yelling at her, I'm not sorry. I will let you hang out with her if she doesn't bully you, but the moment I hear anything bad about you leave her mouth, she's going to wish she never met me." He wiped away all of my tears and lifted my chin to look at him. "I like only you. Now get packed." He stood up and exited my room, leaving me with a flurry of emotions.
