I snuck out of the house, wearing all black just to make sure no one sees me. I'm taking a risk right now but it's worth it. I already spot Jahseh sitting on the rock playing with a branch or something. I sat quietly next to him and he turned around to face me, and we just stared at eachother. He smiled and just grabbed my hand. "I didn't know how much I needed you" he said. I smiled and then remembered Marcus. "What's wrong?" He asked me. "Listen, I wanna be honest with you" I said. He just raised his eyebrow and grabbed my hand a little bit tighter. "I talked to Marcus earlier this evening, explained things, and tried to end things, but it got worse and if he sees us together he threatened to hurt us both" I spoke out. Jahseh just looked at me. "I don't care" he said. I was confused, what does he mean by that? "Look Marcus is an asshole and has no right to make your decisions, and if u don't wanna be with him you gotta tell him. I'm ready to risk things just to be with you. But I don't wanna see you while you're still with him Dee, imma let you make your own decisions but before you do I wanna say one thing" Jahseh said. He grabbed my face and took a deep breath "I love you" he said and kissed me on the cheek. When I opened my eyes he was gone. "I love you too" I whispered.
