All night Tyler thought about josh, even thought it was just a small interaction he liked him. Maybe he would see him around town.
His dad burst in "Tyler why didn't you do the dishes?!" "Oh sorry dad I forgot" "Well do them now then" "It's 3 AM!" "So what get your lazy ass up and do them before I beat you" " You're going to beat me because I won't do the dishes at 3AM? That's ridiculous" His dad had heard enough and stomped over, by this time, Madison was awake with big eyes staring at tyler, he noticed this and gave her a comforting look that read "don't worry". His dad smacked him so hard his head whipped around to the side, not even trying. He grabbed his shirt, pulled him up and punched him 3 times Madison screamed "Tyler!! Just do the dishes!" Her scream turned into a cry. Tyler tried to get up and say he was going to, when his dad kept beating him up, he knew it was useless to struggle so he sat, limp. Madison ran over and started hitting her dad's back as hard as she could screaming at him to stop. "Madison sit down" Tyler scolded between breaths, "No!" She screeched until finally her dad whipped around, hand out and it hit her right in the face, Tyler screamed, hot tears streamed down his face. He jumped up as soon as the contact between her face and his fist made contact. Tyler now beat up his dad not holding back, he knew it was a bad move but it's all he could think to do.
Tyler told his sister to grab clothes for tomorrow and bring her backpack, meanwhile, Tyler packed his backpack, some clothes, a first aid kit and food and water all while their father lay on the ground. They ran out of the house and jumped in the car driving out as fast as Tyler could without speeding. He didn't know where to go so he decided upon raspberry fields. (a/n ik raspberry fields is a terrible name but I couldn't think of anything else to call it)
When they got there Tyler got out and sat on the car, Madison joinef. He told her what he did here, to let it all out. He told it was alright if she wanted to scream, she did, loud too. He was actually impressed.
Tyler grabbed the first aid kit and they cleaned themselves up. They slept in the car, in the morning they would go to school.
