At first I thought she wasn't gonna open it but she slowly opened it a little for me to come in
Jake's POV
I went into Erika's room after she slowly opened the door, She didn't face me and I could hear her crying softly. My heart broke at the sound of that, I turned her around to face me and I saw her eyes. They were red from crying, I could tell that she was crying for hours even in her sleep. It hurt me a lot just knowing it was because of me, I quickly pulled her into a hug which she tried to reject at first but then she finally let me hug her.
Erika: What do you want Jake?!
Jake: I just want you to listen to me for a second
Erika: I think you already told me everything
Jake: But your wrong.. Ok yes there was a girl over here last week and yes I was drunk but nothing happened between us, I told her that I'm seeing someone else and she left. I would have never done anything to hurt you Erika
Erika: But then why did Chance and Anthony make it sound like you did? Like something happened?
She said with tears in her eyes still
Jake: Because Chance and Anthony assume things that aren't true, And they like to tease me
Erika just stood there, taking in all the information that I just told her. She seemed happy but also sad.
Erika: I am so sorry Jake
She said, starting to cry again
Jake: Hey hey its ok, you didn't do anything wrong
I pulled her into a tight hug again, she cried into my shoulder. I was happy that she understood the situation and that nothing happened. We stood there like that for a while and then next thing you know the door opens and team 10 come into the house, seeing me hugging Erika while she cries into my shoulder.
Tessa: E what's wrong?!
And at that moment we stopped hugging and Erika was in shock just like me, that team ten just saw that.
