I'm fine!
________________________A few days had passed since the gunshot incident. The men came to the conclusion that whoever shot the gun, was most likely a member of the opposing gang. Whoever the shooter was, they were aiming for Val's office.
Val had luckily left the room a few minutes prior, or else he could've been hurt. Although the guys weren't really surprised at this attempt to kill, seeing as they are enemies.
Now in present time, the guys had taken the girls to a new place. A place that would hopefully be safer for all of them.
"We're almost there, but when we get in there, just be quiet." Val instructs the girls as the lightly nod their head, followed by a yawn from each of them. "It's three in the morning, so I don't plan on talking that much anyways." Sharna responds as Val decided not to reply and allow silence to fill the vehicle.
"What is this place?" Peta asked as she stared out the window . "For starters, we're in Arizona. A majority of Arizona is mountains and deserts. It's hard to survive, but it will be even harder for them to find us here." Val responded, as the girls were filled with fear of the unknown.
"Secondly, I need you three to be quiet and please be cooperative. We're staying at place that's very secure, and non-gang related. I'm paying a guy to let us stay there, and he doesn't know that we are a mafia. He also doesn't know that we have three girls who were once held hostage, and now they're being protected by us. He doesn't know this information, we don't need any of you telling him." Val finishes his long statement as several minutes had passed.
The girls tiredly nodded, deciding not to reply with a sassy comment, and decided to go back to sleep instead.
"What are our best plans with them? We say we're protecting them, but aren't we just putting them in more danger?" Keo asks Val, once all of the girls appeared to be asleep.
"I don't know, truthfully. I think we're protecting them, but you could be right. Derek may not even know about them yet, and we might be over thinking everything." Val responds, with a tired sigh coming not long afterwards.
"Get some sleep, Boss. We still have about forty five minutes at this pace. Take a power nap, you won't miss anything." Keo assures Val, as Val nods. Val leans his head against the window and allows himself to drift into a well needed slumber.

"We're here." Val lightly tapped Sharna's shoulder, although she wouldn't budge. Lindsay and Peta had already gotten out of the car, but Sharna was still exhausted.
"You look strong, why can't you just carry her?" Peta asks from behind of him, ready to just get inside this place and hopefully go back to sleep.
"I guess so." Val says timidly as he unbuckles her seat belt. He slowly leans her into his arms, before he picks her up fully. He held her bridal style as the other girls yawned.
She stirred in her sleep, daring to wake up, but instead she snuggled into Val's warm chest and feel back asleep. Snores that we're nearly silent escaped her mouth, as Val admired the beauty he was holding.
"I see you have a big group, and you're in luck because this is a big house. Make yourself at home. I live in a trailer about a mile away from here. If you need anything, or have any questions, I'm just a minute away." A man with gray hair and wrinkly skin said softly, as Val grinned and nodded.
