Jin messed with his hair, recreating the same scene from the first date. He felt a reassuring hand on his shoulder. He sighed and turned to face Namjoon.

"I'm so scared. What if I mess up again?" he said.

"You'll be fine!" Namjoon waved his hand, dismissively. "She obviously still likes you. She kept your number." This didn't help Jin, though. He was more afraid of making Eunji hate him again. Namjoon noticed his friends worried expression and smiled warmly. "Listen, Jin." he started. "You really have nothing to worry about. Just be yourself. She seems to like it, and we won't be there to mess it up this time." he said gesturing to the rest of the group, quietly sitting behind them. He smiled at them.

"Okay! Yes! This date will be good!" he cheered.

"Yeah!" Hoseok cheered, sending the rest of the group into cheers as his smile quickly faded. Yoongi started taking a video to send to one of his friends, but instead of joining the fun, he slipped out of the door and made his way to meet with Eunji.

Eunji stood at her old performance spot, waiting for Jin. Ryan was stood next to her, plucking the strings of her guitar.

"You know, you can leave now." she said straightening her dress, and then readjusting her purse.

"Yeah, I know, but I want to make sure you don't get stood up." Eunji pouted at the comment. "What?" Ryan laughed.

"Why do you think he would do that?" she whined.

"Ugh, I hate that baby voice, Eunji! Besides, did you forget the last time you went out with this guy? You are literally recreating the date." Ryan put the guitar in its case and picked it up. "I don't trust him. Not yet. Also, I don't like you being out alone in such a short dress. Once he gets here, I'll leave. I promise." Right on queue, Jin walked over to them, still trying to calm down.

"Hey, Eunji." he said with a small smile. He looked her up and down. She was stunning. Her teal, floral dress blew in the warm breeze. She wore wedged sandals that brought her height up a few inches, but she was still significantly shorter than Jin. Jin couldn't help but gaze down to check out her legs. As he continued to view her outfit, he noticed Ryan. "Oh!" he said, shocked. "Hello, Ryan." Ryan rolled his eyes and walked off with Eunji's guitar.

"Whatever. I'll see you at home, Eunji." he said, holding in his anger.

"What's his problem?" she muttered to herself. "So," she said cheerfully, "are you ready to go, my love." She winked and linked her arm with Jin's, causing him to blush.

"Y-yes. Let's go." he said. They began to walk to the cafe, but instead of falling snow, they were greeted with rain.

"Oh, great..." Eunji said, holding out her hand to feel the droplets. The rain quickly increased until it was a downpour.

"Here." Jin said taking of his blazer and holding it over her head, trying to keep her dry. She smiled and took it from his hands.

"Thank you, but what if you get sick?" she said as they quickened their pace.

"I'll be fine." They stopped and went into the first building they saw. It was a small coffee shop. A few students sat at the tables typing away at their keyboards. "Do you want to wait it out or run for it?" Eunji shook her head.

"Let's just stay here. We didn't need to do anything much." They sat down at a high rise table for two. Eunji's feet dangled off the chair as she swung them. She took off Jin's gray blazer and hung it on her chair.

"I will getting us drinks?" he said as he put on his glasses. "What would you like?" Eunji smiled at his broken English. She thought it was the cutest thing.

"Um..." She squinted up at the menu and leaned closer. She puckered up her lips as she read the menu. "I'll take a chai bubble tea, because I'm boring." She smiled up at him and he chuckled, patting her head.

"You not boring at all, jagi!" Eunji blushed and looked down.

"Jin..." She hid her face and smiled.

"I will be back." he said. Eunji watched him as he turned and walked to the counter. He came back rather quickly with their drinks in hand. "Here." he said, handing her the bubble tea. He sat down in his chair and sipped his drink awkwardly, as the silence grew longer.

"So, what did you get?" Eunji said trying to start up conversation. Jin looked back up from his drink, abruptly and cleared his throat.

"Uh, mango bubble tea." he mummbled.

"I like your glasses. You look very sophisticated." she said cheerfuly.

"So-phis-ti-cat-ed?" Jin repeated the word, being carful enunciate each syllable propperly.

"Yeah, like mature and smart?" she said, hoping she described it well. "You also look very handsome." She blused and looked down as she added that.

"Oh. Thank you." he said as his cheeks reddened as well. "Did I say you looked pretty yet? I feel like I did, but maybe I just thought it. I don't know." Jin continued to avoid eye contact with the now compleatly red girl, as he twiddled his thumbs.

"Well, this got really awkward really fast, and by mentioning how awkward it is, I'm only making it more awkward!" Jin laughed and finally looked up at her. "There are those pretty, brown eyes, I've missed so much!" She flashed a big smile at him.

"How do you tell the difference between a frog and a horny toad?" Jin asked suddenly.

"Uh... ones a lizard? I don't know." she responded, raising a brow.

"The frog says 'ribbit. ribbit,' and the horny toad says 'rub it. rub it." Eunji spit out her drink and burst into a fit of laughter, Jin joining in with her. Their odd laughter bounced off the walls of the quiet cafe, causing people to stare.

"Ah! Jin, that was dirty! Shush, we have to be shh!" she said still giggling and hitting his arm lightly.

"Okay. Okay." He took a deep breath and exhaled, laughing some more.

"Oh! I have one!" she said hitting the table, excitedly. "So, a sandwich walks into a bar, and the bartender says, 'I'm sorry, sir. we don't serve food here." Eunji and Jin both start laughing again, struggling to contain it.

The pair continued to throw jokes and puns at eachother, until their stomachs hurt from laughing. The rain stopped pouring and they left the cafe.

"You know, Jin, I had a really great time tonight. It didn't go as planned, and I didn't get food, but I got to tell dad jokes with you and that's all that really matters." she said as she smiled up at him. "Oh! And you bought me bubble tea! I am forever greatful." Jin tightened his grip on her hand, slightly and started to swing their arms.

"I had a amazing time with you too. You taught me a word and laughed at my jokes, so I am the one that is forever greatful." He looked down at her and smiled. They continued to walk until they made it to a bus stop.

"So, um, do you want to come over to my place? I can uh, teach you new words?" Eunji said looking down at their hands. Jin blushed and nodded. They both boarded the bus and Eunji shot a quick text at Ryan, telling him to leave them alone, so they could talk.

Jin's mind was racing. The date had gone so well. Maybe, it had gone too well. He wondered why he was going to her appartment and what they were going to do there. The many possibilities and scenarios raced through his head.

"We're here." Eunji said as she took his hand and walked him to the door. Jin could only think of one thing: How was Ryan going to react to him there?
