Betty Cooper:
"What the hell are you doing here..sneaking around," Cheryl angrily points a finger in Archie's face. All of us quickly dart their way.
"I could ask ya'll the same thing," Her gestures to the four of us.
"Well we weren't the ones sneaking into the bar, and handing his duffel bag to some stranger like you're smuggling something," Veronica exclaims.
"What are you guys doing here anyway," He raises an eyebrow in frustration and confusion.
"Following you...," I say, "Well we heard the football team talking about how you were planning on doing something bad so we followed you after school," Veronica explains.
"This is none of you're guys business..ya'll just need to leave," Archie dismisses us.
"No we aren't going anywhere until you tell us what you're up to," Jughead steps up in front of him.
Archie's eyes trace the place, making sure no one's paying attention to the conversation. But how couldn't they, we're very out of place here.
We all five are wearing the brightest colors in miles of this place, followed by everyone else dressed in black and leather. I wouldn't blame their curious eyes.
"I needed money," Archie mumbles, glancing down at the dirty floor.
"For what," Veronica questions.
"My dad lost his job..well more along the lines of his business and I need the money for college. Not all of us have the richest parents," Archie explains.
"You've got that right," Jughead mutters under his breath. His eyebrows furrowed.
"So you choose to do something illegal, what did you give that guy anyway," I ask in frustration. The eyes around me making me slightly uncomfortable and ridged.
"I got some drugs from these guys..I don't even know who they were, but the serpents told me they'd give me 100 grand if I got it and brought it to them..I had to take the offer, I'm in desperate need of the money," Archie's paces back in forth, nervous.
"so what are you still doing around here then, you've already gave them the bag," Jughead questions.
"I'm waiting for them to give me the money..and I'm most definitely not leaving till I get it," Archie states, looking across the bar in hopes of a serpent with his "college money".
"Well then why is it taking this long, did they have to go rob a bank," Cheryl rolls her eyes, annoyed. But a smile appears on her lips when Veronica takes her hand in hers.
"Well...well. Look who brought friends, I thought I told you to come alone," A what I assume is a southside serpent walks forward through the somewhat crowded bar. Dressed in a leather jacket, I couldn't see the back of it, but I'd bet there was a snake on it.
Archie's eyes narrow at the statement, "I didn't bring them, they came their selves..now we had a deal....where's the money."
"You'll get it soon enough..now I'm wondering why did these northsiders come all the way down here by themselves," a smug expression appears on the older mans face. His brown eyes narrowing in on the five of us.
"Can I just have my money," Archie surprisingly tries to get us out of this situation.
"Come on I don't want a fight...please give me the money and you'll never have to see any of us again," He keeps trying to persuade.
The older man walks forward, stepping rather closer to Archie than I assume he liked. His smirk growing wider by the second. His narrowed eyes trail back to us for a second, scanning all of us over.
"I've seen you before," He points to Jughead. Jug's eye's widening in fear, as to what I can presume.
"I live on the southside," Jughead gives a short answer.
"Oh really..why are you with them then," The stranger questions in curiosity.
"Just give me the money and we'll be gone," Archie tries to save us once again.
"Shut up red..I'm just asking a simple question. No harm in that, is there,"
It's like slow motion, the air surrounding us becoming stiff. And everybody freezes in their position, well not Archie. Before any of us could do or say anything, his fist swings into the air and right into the serpents jaw. Dropping the bag of money to the cold floor. Groaning in pain, Archie doesn't waste time. He dashes for the bag and then runs. All of us following quickly behind, once we had snapped out of our gazes anyway.
"Shit where did the guys go," Archie panics.
"Come with us," Jughead says, shocking Archie but none the less we all run back to the car. Not bothering buckling up as we quickly drive away.
Today's been crazy, and it seems like Archie isn't so bad after all. I really hope we can all get back to way things were.
But what I didn't know is that things were about to get a whole lot more crazy.
