A couple of days passed without incidence. Sirius was much less active than he typically was, barely mustering the energy to get out of bed, but that seemed understandable -- he was obviously still quite upset.
On the fourth day of Sirius' stay, however, he insisted on playing a one-on-one version of Quidditch with James. James, of course, was happy to see Sirius willing to get back on his feet a bit, and enthusiastically agreed. The two walked down to an open field of grass nearby, conveniently framed with trees to block the view from Muggles. They joked with each other, and Sirius was in a considerably better mood than he had been in days previous. When they reached the field, James immediately took flight. Sirius bent down, grabbed his broom, stood back up, and suddenly felt quite dizzy. He shook his head and brushed it off, mounting his broom.
After about five minutes in the air, Sirius began to feel dizzy again. 'It's no big deal,' he thought, ignoring the feeling. 'I'm just tired, I'll get over it...' And then, suddenly Sirius passed out and began to fall...
