Jasmine's POV

I was cold. The rain was pouring down on the streets of Boston, Massachusetts as I ran into the nearest store for shelter. As I walked into the little candy shop, soaking wet with my makeup running down my face, I noticed a blonde haired boy who looked extremely familiar. I couldn’t quite remember where I had seen him before, but then he began to talk.

“ Hi, I was wondering how much all of this would cost,” said the blonde Irishman from One Direction. I couldn’t remember his name. Niel? Nall? Niall? Niall! It was Niall Horan. My first instinct was to walk out of the place before a mob of girls came in and attacked him, but I remembered how cold it was outside and stayed.

“ All of that candy will be around fifteen dollars,” said the man at the candy counter. Niall looked confused as he took out his wallet to pay. I wondered why and then remembered that he probably didn’t know how to pay in American currency. He managed to pay the right amount and started toward the door. As he walked past me he stopped and looked at me in a weird way. I guess it was because he wasn’t expecting me to just stand there and pretend like I didn’t know who he was. I didn’t want him to notice me. For all I knew he could be the most arrogant jerk in the entire universe. That was my main reason for not liking famous people. The fact that I didn’t know the real way they acted. My friends would always say “ Oh they are so sweet and kind!” I always just looked them straight in the eyes and said, “ How do you know? They could be terrorists for all you know.” They hated me for this. Niall passed me and right before he walked out he took five steps back.

“ Do you know who I am?” asked Niall.

“ Yes, your Niall Horan from One Direction,” I replied.

“ I’m sorry for asking, but usually people mob me. I’m just not used to it,” said Niall.

“ Well I’m not like other people,” I said.

“ I can see that. It’s nice for a change to talk to a fan who doesn’t obsess over you,” said Niall.

“ Wait. I never said I was a fan,” I replied.

“ Oh, so I take it your not?” Niall asked.

“ Your exactly right. I really dislike One Direction. Not to be offensive to you or anything,” I said.

“ No, why would telling someone that their band sucked be offensive?” Niall said with a smirk on his face.

“ I’m sorry I should just go,” I said as I began to walk out the door.

“ Well it was nice talking to you, I guess,” Niall called after me. I ignored it and kept on walking down the street.
