You limped into the dark infirmary, the sound of your cane echoing around in the empty walls. All you could see was darkness....
You chopped it up to him just not being there and walked out of the room.
You started walking down the line hallway wondering were else Ratchet could be. Last time you saw him he was in....
Of course!!
You stumbled a little trying to walk faster with your newfound answer. He had to be there, if he wasn't you were truly stumped!
You probably looked goofy hobbling fast with a huge smile on your face. But you didn't care.
A few minuets later you were at a huge lit room with several other bots in it including Ratchet!
He was holding some sort of green report and walking out of the room where you were.
"Hey, Ratchet!" You called.
His blue optics shot up from the sound of his name. He looked at you surprised and almost dropped his tablet. Guess you scared him good...
As soon as he regained his composure he walked toward you.
"What is it, (y/n)?" He said sounding a little annoyed.
"I was just wondering if we could talk in private..." You said pointing to the hallway.
'Man, I really must have done something to him to say it like that...'
You thought.
Instead of stopping outside the door Ratchet kept walking toward his lab.
"Let's talk in my lab I need to drop things off anyway..." He said.
You hobbled in silence the hole way there.
Once you two were in front of the door, Ratchet broke the silence.
"What is you want to talk to me about?"
....
You thought for a moment, trying to find away to put this situation into words.
"Well...I heard...that you act differently when your around me, the other bots say it's concerning that you wouldn't tell them what's going on and I was just wondering if it was something I did..." You looked at Ratchet.
His optics went wide, he seemed to stiffen and his cheeks went a slight tint of blue.
"Who said that?" He asked still in a state of shock.
You chose to keep making conversation but thought you needed to be careful just in case.
"Well, I just heard the news today...from Drift." You said looked worriedly at him.
His optics fluttered down in realization of the reaction he gave the situation.
"S-sorry...its just..." He began.
You stared down at your one foot, was this issue really about you? Had you done something to kickstart another problem?
All of the sudden you felt to arms wrap around you and cold lips touch yours...
Looking up you saw Ratchet closed eyes close to your wide optics.
You were losing balance on you one leg and you two were both close to falling over though you were probably the only one who noticed the situation.
You closed your eyes in frustration and happiness. You held onto him from the angle you were now tilted at.
After a few more seconds of romance Ratchet had pulled away, once he had though that was the max point of tilt.
Finally after much stress on your tired leg, you two fell over...
Instead of you hitting the hard floor, you felt like you were swung around in mid air and saw that Ratchet had fallen under you.
"Ugh..." He complained
You just stared at him. Had he really meant that kiss?
"I...didn't know you felt that way..." You said blushing madly.
He sat upward moving you toward his chest. He wore a straight face the entire time.
Finally he spoke.
"I didn't realize I had changed so much when you came around....I guess being in such a long war can leave a bit lacking feelings for a while." He looked in your optics, "I guess it just takes the right bot to come around and change that."
'Awwwwwwwww' You thought while hugging him.
