Tailgate's pov
"H-hey! You! You need to leave right now! It not safe!"
She spun around fast hearing me shout behind her. She dropped the rock she was heavily examining before.
She...was really pretty on the front, but she looked really confused at me.
"Who are you?" She asked, " I've never heard you around the barn..."
"Barn...?, whatever, that doesn't matter right now, come with me." I said to her. She walked toward me with no hesitation. I have to admit, I was a little surprised. I thought she would have rejected me, on account of a weird bleeding be robots and coming out of a bush and telling her to go somewhere....yeah.
Wait she mentioned something about a barn. Should I ask? Maybe later, when we're somewhere safe.
Timeskip ~-.-~
When I had my encounter with the bad humans, I obviously ran from my ships crash site. But I figured since they were after me, I would go back to my ship and make sure there was nobody there, so me and the fembot can catch up on some things.
After I checked my ship for people I clarified that it was all clear. I looked at the ship, not bad...a pretty good landing maybe. It would definitely be able to fly again, that's all that really matters.
Me and the fembot got inside near the font of the space craft. I closed the shield/window and took a seat near the femme.
"So, you said something about being in a barn? Can I ask about what you meant?" I chose my words carefully, she didn't look like she was paying any attention to me.
She was busy looking around at everything with her big, beautiful (e/c) optics. But she reluctantly answered shifting her weight but still not looking at me.
"Yeah the barn..weren't you made from there too?" She asked as if it were obvious. "I just left there today! My first time outside!!"
She was practically squealing at the last sentence.
"Wait...hold on, this is your first time outside!?!"
"Yes.." She looked at me weirdly. But I continued.
"And no, I wasn't made in a barn, I'm from another planet."
Now I just seemed like an idiot, but she had a different reaction. She seemed like she was gonna sike out.
"Omg!! What's a planet?!?, what's it called? Do they all look like you? Hey, what's your name?"
All these questions were thrown at me a million miles an hour. I only heard those few before o held my hands in front of me, as if to stop the flood of questions from crushing me. She even seemed to have smoke coming from the back of her (s/c) helm. I guess this happens when she's excited.
"Slow down!! You're going to put yourself on fire!"
She settled down, but kept her giant and curios smile plastered on her face. I blushed under my mouth guard.
"Listen, there's really no definition for a planet, and my name is Tailgate...I came from the planet Cybertron. No, not all the bots look like me, most are taller, some are smaller, and they have different colors and different faces."
"Ohhhhh, hi Tailgate." She said in a child like tone.
At that moment, I noticed a small figure getting through one of the cracks in the ship.
"Whatcha looking at?" She asked.
The figure behind her froze, I got a good look at it. Me and the femme not looked at it. He was small, dressed in a lab coat with normal clothes underneath, and looked quite afraid that we saw him.
I got up and walked toward him. He tried to scurry away but backed himself in a corner. When I was close to him I bent down to where I was eye level. He was terrified by now.
"What do you want with me?" I asked him.
(Y/N) pov
I turned around to see what Tailgate was looking at. I noticed some..thing near a crack in the wall behind me. Next thing I knew the robot boy was asking the thing in the corner questions.
"What do you want with me?" He asked. What do you want with....the femme.
I realized that I haven't given him my name, oh yeah, never mind, I couldn't read my name. But I think I was able to remember some of the weird letters shapes they had to name me.
The man seemed to panic a little. Though he regained his composure quickly.
"Look," he said, " I was sent back to see if you came back to the crash site, but when we noticed that one of our robots, (y/n) was missing" he pointed at me and looked back at Tailgate, "I was sent to go find her alone..."
Tailgate backed away and sat cross legged still in front of the young man.
"I really don't want to cause any trouble okaayy," he said making himself shrink into the corner even further,"I build my robots, not capture aliens and hunt my own creations! I was told to get you by my partners, thy said that you two would be big money." He looked down guiltily.
"So, you'll let us leave?"
The question seemed to shock the man, but he quickly came up with an answer.
"Of course! But is there anything you need? The ship seems to be pretty banged up.." The man stood up and Tailgate came toward the window, probably making sure that no one else was around the ship.
"At least one slab of whatever strong metal you have out there would be nice...just to fix that hole." He said.
"Alright, done!" The man said clapping his hands.
