Three years ago I would've done anything to get out of my little town but now after spending a year at uni I couldn't think of a better, more quiet place to spend my summer so here I was.

It was oddly relaxing to be back. Everything was like it was before I packed my bags and left. The roads, the neighborhood, the local bakery two blocks from my house where I spent most my time eating because I like eating.

Well, everything. Except the big ass truck parked right next door and two sleek black cars. And a lot of commotion coming from inside the house.

"I hereby pronounce this room mine" said a deep voice loudly.

"Chanyeol, this is the living room." Said a softer yet stern voice.

I could literally hear them yelling, sitting inside the taxi.

"So?"

"Move your ass."

"It's for everyone. EVERYONE."

"NO,NO don't put it there."

"Everyone. JUST shut up."

"No."

There goes my peace and quite.

"Nice neighborhood." Said the uber driver, clearly enjoying the drama.

"Yea thanks." I paid him the bills. He was kind enough to help me with my luggage or maybe he was just staying for the dramz.

I thanked him one more time, and quickly ran into my house. (Not exactly ran, just sort of jogged, dragging tons of luggage with me.)

The first one to greet me was my dog. Cherry. The white fluff ball came running out the living room, her tiny tail wagging like crazy and jumped into my arms.

"Yes baby, I missed you too. Awwww" I squeezed her. I remember Dad had found her, lost and scared in an Alley and brought her home and that was six years ago. Damn, I keep getting emotional.

"Mia! you're early." Said my mum peeking out the kitchen, hair tied in a messy bun, brown eyes literally sparkling behind her glasses. She smiled so bigly, my heart melted.

"Surprise!" I said, still squeezing Cherry in my arms. Cherry clawed back at me which meant she was done with my emotional drama so I let her go.

"Dinner is almost ready, go freshen up"

what? That's it. No hugs? okay I guess.

"Okie ma."

I picked up my duffle bag and lazily walked to my room.

Guess no one missed me.

Before I could turn the knob the door swung open and someone yelled surprise but I was too distracted to notice who because I stubbed my toe.
