"Oh my god" I said when I finally looked at the person standing in front of me. "Ira what the hell are you doing in my HoUsE in my RoOm??!" Ira was my childhood friend and highschool bestie . So naturally I was happy to see her, but slightly more shook cause we hadn't talked in a month.
"Watching your hot neighbors. The one with orange hair is literally fire but I mean they are all fire. Can you set me up- " She said dreamily.
"Ira!" I huffed and stomped on her foot on my way to the window to shut the blinders.
"I mean WAITING FOR YOU SAtan!" She said jumping up and down on one foot.
"Yea that's better" I said and plopped down on my fluffy pink chair. Oh how I'd missed the comfort of my room.
"I called your mum and asked her when you were coming back so I could surprise you cause I'm a good friend and like I care about you BUT CLEARLY the feeling is not mutual!" Ira narrowed her coffee brown cat eyes and gave me a pout.
She looked different than the last time I saw her. I couldn't quite put a finger on it but OH RIGHT the last time her hair didn't look like unicorn vomit. But she was still rocking the look.
"What happened to your hair?" I said holding back laughter.
"YOLO is what happened to my hair and its about time it happened to yours too." She said and dramatically flicked her hair for emphasis.
"No, what are you fourteen?" I said protectively placing a hand on my untouched virgin hair.
"Shut up you old hag." ira kicked me in the shin making my bend over in pain.
"Ouch What did you just call me" I grabbed a pillow and threw it at her face but she caught it. Damn Strong Reflexes.
"OLD HAG" she threw back the pillow smiling like an idiot and unfortunately my face caught it before my hands could.
"Ugh IRA GTFO."
"Haha "
"Your crazy"
"You know you love me."
And then we both broke into careless laughter.
"Its hard to admit missed your shit face." Ira plopped down on the bed.
"Same, so what's new besides your bomb hair?"
"A lot" Ira's smile suddenly disappeared.
