"What?" I arched an eyebrow. Why was she suddenly acting like she lost her firstborn.
"Haven't you heard? Something's wrong." Iras voice was barely over a whisper.
I was still clueless as ever. "I just got back. All I know is that mitochondria is the powerhouse of a cell. "
"People are going missing. There have four disappearances so far over the course of past month. And one of them was Suga." Ira sounded genuinely worried.
"Min suga?" I asked. He was a great guy and iras ex. Theyd broken up on good terms just before college. Not really broken up. They had sort of a on and off relationship but they were always true to each other.
Ira nodded her head, her rainbow locks cascading down her shoulders.
"What does the police say?" I asked turning the bedside lamp on. It was getting dark outside.
"They're working on it. No leads yet." She said. A warm glow illuminating her features.
"Stop being so morbid. We'll figure it ou-" before I could finish my sentence the glass window behind me shattered startling both of us. One of us screamed.
