Tonight was the night of all nights.
Like all events and holidays, New Years Eve was taken very seriously among the fellow Fairy Tail guild. It was the day every single guild member got wasted besides St. Patrick's Day, but it also was a day that everyone tried to get something off their chest before the new year started.
It's 9:20 pm, and the girls were all getting prepared in Lucy's house for a huge annual festival in Magnolia to celebrate the new year. "Soooooo you guys ready for the new year?" Lucy asked excited. All the girls nodded with the same amount of enthusiasm. "Hell yeah we are!" Erza shouted. "I'm gonna get drunker than I've ever been tonight!" Cana said as she pulled out a barrel of beer from no where (what's new?).
"Juvia has big plans for tonight." She said with her palms on her rosy face. "Oh yeah what plans?" Levy asked as she combed through her hair. "Juvia plans on getting a kiss from Gray-sama at midnight." She said with hearts in her eyes. The other girls sweat dropped and sighed. "I don't know about that one." Lucy said. Juvia didn't seem to notice she even said anything because she was already fantasizing about it.
"There's no point of talking her out of it she's gone." Mira said. "So what're your plans for the new year Lucy? Gotta a special pink haired idiot on your mind?" Cana teased as she nudged her arm. Lucy's face became the color of Erza's hair. "Wh-whattt?!!" Lucy said. "Tch, don't act like that. We all know you two have a thing for each other." Cana said as she took another sip of her beer. Lucy shook her head frantically.
