Ron's POV:

Tomorrow would be the right time. Ron could ask Hermione during the celebration tomorrow. The celebration for all the Gryffindor Quidditch players, they were going to the World cup and everyone was invited to the celebration, though most of the Quidditch players will be there from the winning Gryffindor team.

"Ron, you there?" Harry waved a hand in front of him. "Right here, just thinking about something. I have to go Harry. Meet you in class later." Ron got up and stopped before leaving. "Where's Hermione?" He looked around the table. "Left early. Don't know what for though. I think she went to the library with Ginny." Harry replied. "That's Hermione." Ron smiled and shrugged.  He waved to Harry, who was talking to Neville. Harry waved back.

"See you later Ron!" He called out. "You too! Oh and good luck with Ginny." Ron called back. Harry had been talking to Ron about the right time to ask Ginny out. Of course Ron had to be strict with some rules. After all, he is Ginny's older brother.

Ron made his way to the Gryffindor common room and straight to the Boy's Dormitory. He would definitely not make the same mistake as last time. He would ask her to the Ball tomorrow no matter what.

Hermione's POV:

Hermione was in the library, studying hard for the O.W.L.S. But she couldn't focus with the celebration and Yule Ball coming up. Hermione remembered Viktor Krum from the last Yule Ball. But, she was hoping Ron would have enough courage to ask her this time.

"You really think Harry would ask me Hermione?" Ginny was talking to her. Hermione smiled at Ginny. "I'm positive and I don't think Ron would mind. I just can't stop thinking about the celebration and the ball. It's all I can concentrate on." Hermione sighed, smiling and closing her book.

"Are you hoping someone will ask you?" Ginny smiled, resting her head on her hands. "I don't know exactly yet." Hermione replied. It was true, she didn't know if she liked Ron, after his temper at the last ball. Fraternizing with the enemy? What was he thinking? Victor had just asked her to the ball because Ron decided not to. The thought just made Hermione mad. "Ginny, I think we should go back to the dorms." She got up, picking up the books and her bag.

Hope you guys liked that! First chapter. YAY!!! I'm currently writing the other chapters, and I will try and post them as soon as I can. Feel free to comment!!
