It's a start of a new year yet again. This is the year Horatio graduates primary school. This is the year he is gonna change his life around. Or so he thought. It was only the start of February when he had his first trip to hospital. Horatio was at school as usual, doing his favourite subject. Science. It was halfway through his experiment when his chest started to ache. Followed by his left arm going numb. He walked up to the teacher and before he could say anything he fell to his knees grasping his chest and passed out. He woke up in the back of an ambulance on the way to the hospital. "What am I doing here?" He asked. "You had a heart attack and you're on the way to the hospital." The paramedic said, looking at his heart readings. "A HEART ATTACK!!!"

This was only the start of Horatio's hospital trips. He had gone for many things. His heart attack, severe constipation, another minor heart attack, but the ones he hated most where his eczema trips. He was at school and it was a normal day for him. Except today was a hot day and because he was embarrassed, Horatio wore a long sleeve tshirt and a jacket to school. He scratched and he scratched. He scratched so much blood started to drip from his arms and legs to the floor. The teacher noticed and sent him to the first aid room where they sat him in front of the air conditioner to cool down. They did not know that the air con dries out the skin.

By the end of the day Horatio was in a ball, skin all dry and covered in scabs. He told the principal, Mr Gray, when he walked in that he couldn't move. Which was the truth. The scabs had formed while he was curled up, so if he moved he could possibly bleed out. The principal thinking he knows best, pulled Horatio up and all his scabs cracked open. Within a matter of seconds he was surrounded by a pool of his own blood. Mr Gray didn't notice. He walked Horatio out to his mother and the look on her face made Mr Gray look down. This was when he noticed the trail of blood leading from the first aid room to Marg. Horatio was in hospital for 5 days. Getting blood transfusions and help with his eczema. The help he received came in the form of immunosuppressants. This drug basically shut down his immune system and rebooted it. If only we paid attention when we agreed to it, then he would've know about the risk of leukaemia.

With the amount of days Horatio missed because he was in hospital, he was surprised he was allowed to graduate. But here he was, standing in the hall about to give his speech. He hated public speaking but he had to do it. No matter how nervous he was. During his speech several people sniggered at it. When he finished most people were clapping but the rest were pointing and laughing at him. But he didn't care. He was proud he managed to do his speech without failing. He was proud he managed to deal with all the bullying and the teasing for 7 years.
