She begins to spiral, thinking "what if it's bad to have more than one daddy?" She tries to suppress these feelings, but It gets harder as the years go by. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Chrom is haunted by the mistakes of his past, but has learned to move on. He has a family now after all. A loving husband, and two beautiful daughters who are growing up happy and healthy. But he notices a change in Lucina. It's subtle but she seems sadder, faking her smiles, just like Chrom did all those years ago. He and Robin talk with her, and find out what's wrong, but the truth, it takes a play straight from the past, and Chrom is Pretty sure he knows why. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TW! This is loosely based off of the backstory I wrote for Lucina in the chat fic that shall not be named. It does get dark, and it's ok if it's not the best story for you :)

She lost a lot that night; the night of the anniversary the Sazama clan was founded. Not only did she lose her mother, but she lost her future. Her father, in an attempt to protect Iris and her older sister, took them to the gates of Suna on a silent night only to be met with his own death by someone who played a key card in Iris's future. As her life unravels before her eyes, Iris finds herself alone. Her sister disappeared suddenly before the death of her father. After three long years of constant nomadic travelling, she comes face to face with two Akatsuki members who know that Iris has the kekkei genkai of Copycat. She is the only survivor of the Suzama clan left with it. Having their own assignments and knowing the power of her ability, they set some terms with her—not terms that Iris agreed with, but terms that she would need to follow in order to keep Ivy alive; her last link to her past. Her task she was assigned? To capture the Jinchuriki of the Sand. Agreeing, she hadn't a clue of the fate she was sentenced to, yet she did know she had a score to settle... But sometimes things don't go as you expect them to.
