You went in your car and drove to their house. When you stopped in front of it, you could only notice the sign “For Sale” on the balcony. Your eyes teared up as so many horrible thoughts came to your head.
'He's moving out, and he didn't tell me?' you thought to yourself.
You slowly got out of the car and rang the bell but no one answered. You crumbled on the floor crying hard. The only one you could go to and ask for help, the only one you fully trusted and were truly happy with, was gone and you didn’t know where he was. He wouldn’t answer your phone calls and he moved out to another place without even telling you anything.
You went back home and closed yourself in your bedroom crying. You were completely broken, you had no one now, you were left by your own.

The next weeks were a complete hell for you. You were always thinking of how Austin left you alone after all those years and promises. By one side, you wanted to see him again because you missed him deeply, but by the other side, you never wanted to see him again because of what he did to you… You could never deny that you were in love with Austin. He was everything you had and needed and wanted… You’ve always wanted more than that friendship but you were afraid he wouldn’t feel the same and that it’d ruin your relationship as friends.
You had to move on now. No matter what had happened, your parents seemed a lot happier knowing you’d probably never see Austin again. And soon you’d go completely mad and crazy about such happiness.
You were laying on your bed staring at the ceiling. You were tired after that tough school day. Since Austin left, you had stopped eating, you had stopped caring, you nearly had stopped living. Moving on was harder than you initially thought. You got up and went downstairs to have dinner. Your appetite was none, but still, your maids tried their hardest to make you eat, and your parents pretended to care.
'Sweetie you have to eat something…' your mum said as she put her hand on yours. You frowned slightly and moved your hand away immediately. She sighed and you still stared at your food.
'Aren't you happy?' your mum asked. You gasped and finally faced her. You were about to say something but you wanted no trouble so you just got up and started walking towards your room.
’Alice, come back here!’ your father called you. You stopped and looked at him.
'Why?' you asked.
'Because we're not finished. Behave, Alice.' he said. He was being serious. You sat down again and rested your head on your hands. Your father looked at you.
'What's wrong? Tell us.' he said. You just shook your head.
'Is it because Austin left you?' you thought your mum was definitely trying to put up a fight now.
'I told you he was no good for you. He's just a coward and he left you without saying anything, am I right?' I warned you.' your father said, almost in a provocative way.
You were trying your hardest not to cry but some tears were already running down your cheeks. You sobbed silently and looked up slightly to notice your parents’ grins of victory. You sighed and squinted your eyes trying to stay still and calm.

As soon as they finished eating, you got up slowly and went back to your bedroom. You closed the door behind you and let your back slide down on the door until you sat down crying hard. And that was when something came to your mind.
'Why were they grinning so winningly? They've been so happy with all of this…' you thought as you asked yourself.
You got up immediately, opened your door furiously and walked to the living room where your parents were. You wiped your tears before anything else and they both looked at you and noticed you were furious, out of your mind.
'What did you do to him?' you asked all of a sudden. They froze.
'Hm?' you father asked.
'What did you do to him?!' you repeated, louder this time.
'To who?' your mum asked.
'To Austin, of course! What did you do to Austin?!' you yelled.
'What the fuck are you talking about?!' your father yelled and got up. You were crying and yelling at the same time.
'Did you hurt him? Tell me what you did!' you insisted.
Without thinking twice you hit your father on his chest and pushed him. He widened his eyes and grabbed your wrists while he called two of his bodyguards. You kept on yelling and trying to hit and kick your dad. His bodyguards grabbed you and pulled you away in a second.
Your parents were completely astonished towards your behavior. Your father demanded them to lock you in your room and they did as he asked for. You didn’t sleep for the whole night.

For the next few days he kept you closed in there. You stayed in your bedroom, you only got out to go to the bathroom or eat. He kept you like an animal in a cage, you had no freedom.
You thought constantly about what you did but you didn’t regret it anyway.
You went back to school after that week and you tried your hardest to concentrate now… you tried your hardest to move on but it was impossible..
