Everything Will Be Okay (Sunnyflight)

A/N: Oh moons an update? Yep finally I'm feeling like writing again and as promised a Sunnyflight fanfiction. Yay! I'm also thinking of doing a Wings Of Fire truth or dare sort of fanfiction sometime so if you like that idea tell me so I might write it sooner than I usually do.

This fanfiction takes place in book 8 after Scarlet throws the fake head of Queen Glory and has fled again. Tsunami has taken off to find her, leaving Sunny with Starfight, grieving the late queen.

Sunny and Starflight were in the Jade Mountain library, which was currently empty, as every Jade mountain student was in an assembly in the prey center. It was Clay's idea to keep the students in the prey center to keep everyone safe if Scarlet were to return.

Starflight had his wings around Sunny, doing his best to comfort her and calm her down, as she was crying hysterically. He too was trying very hard to not cry hysterically because of how hard he was trying to keep it together for Sunny.

"It's not fair! It's so not fair! How could this happen? Glory is the strongest dragon in all of Pyrrhia how out of everyone had Scarlet killed her!?" Sunny said shaking, tears streaming down her face.

"I'm as shocked confused and frustrated as you Sunny, I mean, Deathbringer is by Glory's side 24/7 and would give his life for her. Not to mention Scarlet is weak and couldn't do this alone, but, who does she have left on her side? I mean, there is always the possibility that P-" Starflight started but was then cut off by Sunny.

"Starflight stop! Peril would never betray us like that again! She knows Clay loves Glory like a sister and she would never hurt him like that!" Sunny said angrily, which was a surprise to Starflight to hear her act this way. He responded with a simple "Your right Sunny, your right," as he pulled her in closer to him.

Sunny rested her head on Starflights shoulder, and after a few moments past said, "Thank you Starflight, for always being there for me, even when you need some comforting as well. I always loved that about you."

Love. Starflight knew that Sunny hadn't meant that in a romantic way, only in a caring friend way. Still, he felt happy that he was complimented by someone who meant so much to him.

"And I love how in any tough situation, you always seem to put a smile on my face." Starflight responded. Sunny then lifted her head to look up at Starflight and smiled a smile that lit up an entire room. Sunny then softly kissed Starflight on the cheek and quietly said "I love you Starflight" as she pulled him into another hug. Starflight felt another quick stab to his heart as once again he knew that Sunny had only said that because she loved him as a best friend and a brother. Well, at least that's what Starflight thought.

A/N: Ok I am sooo late writing this. I mean it has almost been a YEAR since I promised to write this fanfic. I did start writing this in August but then school started and I no longer had time or the want to write with all of the stress of school starting to pour in. I really need to write more and I know that so I promise I'll try (I really need to stop making promises I have trouble keeping whoops)
But keep suggesting story's (doesn't have to be ships but hey I always enjoy a good ship fanfic). That's about it soooo thanks for reading!
