The past couple weeks have gone by great and I can't believe it's already time for homecoming! I am so excited! It's this Friday and it's already Tuesday which means I better hurry and find the perfect dress to wear. I'm planning on going shopping today after school with Taylor. I already talked to my coach and gave him some lame excuse that it's for family reasons.

Kyle and I have been doing amazing as well. And so far no one knows of our "relationship."

"So you ready to go?" Taylor pops up next to me and I shut my locker before turning to look at her.

"Ya let me just ask K- Mr. Sorice something real quick." I barely catch myself and Taylor gives me a questioning look before smiling and walking down the hall. I look around making sure no one is around before slipping into his room only to see him working diligently at his desk.

I close the door behind me and lean against it waiting for him to look up. When he does a huge smile makes it's way to his mouth and I smile in return.

"Hey. What are you doing here?" He asks taking his eyes off his paper.

"I just thought I'd come see my favorite history teacher." I walk over to his desk sitting on the edge.

Kyle looks at the door making sure no one is there before bringing his lips to mine in a short kiss.

"Well I'm always happy to see my favorite student but shouldn't you be at soccer practice?"

"Nah Taylor and I are going homecoming dress shopping." I jump off his desk and walk around to the front admiring his photos. I pick one up and see it's of his and his dog I'm assuming. I smile lightly before placing it back on his desk.

"I see, so you're going to this dance?"

"Of course! It is my senior homecoming after all."

"will you be going with a date?" I look at Kyle debating whether I should mess with him or not but decide against it.

"No, my boyfriend doesn't reach the age requirement." I laugh lightly at his face and feel my phone vibrate in my pocket. I turn it on to reveal a text message from Taylor telling me to hurry up.

"I got to go. Taylor's waiting." I take one more look out the door before giving him a peck on the lips and walking out the door.

Taylor and I have been at the mall for twenty minutes and I still haven't found anything. I'm a fairly fast shopper since I hate doing it. I know what girl doesn't like shopping? I guess I'm just a fail as a girl.

Just when I've given up hope at this store I see a navy blue fabric sticking out. I pick it up by the hanger and it's a strapless navy blue mid thigh length dress and the colors go from darker to lighter.

I show it to Taylor and she gets a huge smile on her face.

"That's the one." I try it on real quick and it fits perfectly. I bring it up to the register and purchase it before Taylor and I make our way to the foor court.

"So are you going to go with anyone? Or maybe meet up there?" Taylor asks as we both take sips of our strawberrie smoothies.

I shake my head before answering. "Nope just going alone or with you."

"Sorry babe I've got a date." Taylor gives me a smile showing all her teeth.

"What! Who!" I practically shout at her earning a few looks from strangers.

"I guess you'll have to wait and see." And with that she gets up and walks away.
