I took a deep breath before I went into the story of how Kyle and I got together. I started with the obvious flirtation to the soccer game with the surprise kiss at the end. I even told her that we slept together and the look on her face let me know she was beyond surprised.

"You guys had sex?" Taylor whispered leaning in closer.

"Yes." I whispered back making fun of her a little bit.

"Wow. When I said you guys would end up together I didn't think it would actually happen."

I laughed as I pulled her into a hug "me neither."

The rest of the night Taylor and I talked and ate pizza. Mostly it was about Kyle and how we have managed to keep our relationship a secret this whole time. But every now and then we would stray to other topics.

It was already 9 so I decided to head home so I could get a good nights sleep before school tomorrow. I'm weird like that I am in love with sleep and I will do anything to get a good nights sleep. My chemistry teacher thought that was funny because I said I'm not a night person because I love to go to bed, but I'm not a morning person because I hate t wake up, so what does that make me? An afternoon person? Maybe 11-7?

I make my way up to my room and flop down on my bed. I don't even bother changing as I soon drift off to a peaceful slumber.

I wake up to a shrill bell going off and I open my eyes to see it's my alarm clock. That's weird I was dreaming I was having tea with the queen of England and my alarm clock was actually a bomb that was about to go off. Weird.

I throw on jeans and a t-shirt before making my way downstairs. Hey, everyone needs a bum day. I grab a muffin and my bag off the counter and head outside to my black Honda accord. I place my bag in the passenger seat and take a huge bite out of my muffin while I turn the key in the ignition.

A blast my favorite band Yellow Card the whole way and when I make it to school my favorite song Life of a Salesman comes on.

"Whisper in my ear dad, I'm growing up to be a better man da-"

I take the keys out shutting off the music. I grab my bag and make my way inside the hell they call high school. That's a lie, I don't dread school as much as I used to. It might have something to do with a blond history teacher.

"Hey girl." Taylor runs up to my linking her arm with mine. Gosh how I've missed this. I smile as we both make our way to our lockers.

"So does Mr. Sorice know that I know?" Taylor brings up nonchalantly and I look around to make sure no one heard.

"Shhh. Don't call him that. Just call him Kyle like I do. Just not to his face." I whisper and Taylor nods her head.

"And to answer your question no he does not know and I plan on telling him after school. We have a date at his house."

"Aww that's so cute! But wait what about soccer?"

"You didn't know? The seasons over." I smile as I'm happy that I won't have to deal with my insane coach anymore.

"Oh yay! That means more time for you and I to spend together."

I laugh at her giddy attitude and make my way to homeroom.

------------------------------------------------

I walk into history class and spot the blond I've been waiting to see all morning. He doesn't look up off his phone though so I just take my seat and pull out my phone.

'No phones in class Mr. Sorice.'

I smile at my clever text and watch as his lips turn into a smile as he types his reply.

Soon my phone vibrates on my desk and I smile before unlocking it.

'You can punish me later ;)'

I look up to see a very amused Kyle smirking at me. Gosh that smirk! I don't know what I would do without it. Maybe I do love Kyle.

--------------------------------------------

School is finally over and I smile as I make my way to Kyle's classroom. I thought I'd hang with him for a little bit before our date. I've been thinking it through and I do love Kyle. I love Kyle Sorice and it's about time I told him! I place my hand on the door knob but before I can open it I see something in the window that makes me stop.

It's Kyle at his desk with Miss. Kocher sitting on it holding his hand. He's smiling and she's touching his hair. The same thing that I do. The tears start falling and I take off running down the hallway before anyone see's me.

As I run outside the cold air hits my wet cheeks making a burning sensation on them. I grab the keys out of my bag fumbling with the lock. I finally get it unlocked and I start the ignition taking off down the road as fast as I can.

I pull up to the only person I can talk to about this and knock on the door. Thankfully she answers and not her parents. I fall into Taylor's arms and just let it all out again.

"Shhhhh..." She sooths holding me tight.

"What happened?" She guides me to the couch and I sit down with her arm still wrapped around my shoulder.

"Kyle he...he" I let out another sob and she pulls me closer understanding I'm not ready to talk about it.

We sat like that for what seems like hours, just me crying and Taylor soothing me everyway she could.

I finally sit up wiping away the rest of my tears and looking at Taylor for the first time since we sat down.

"Kyle was in his classroom with Miss. Kocher, and it looked a little cozier than the normal teacher encounters." Taylor's mouth drops open but she soon closes it once she realizes it has fallen.

Taylor's expression turns to anger though as she stands up and heads to the door.

"Where are you going?" I stand up quickly in a panic.

"I'm going to teach that no good teacher that he messed with the wrong person." She reaches for the door but I pull her hand back before she opens it.

"No! Listen he messed up but I'm not ruining his career for it. I'm going to be the better person, and besides he doesn't know you know." She pulls back realizing I was right and pulls me into another hug.

"Oh baby, you shouldn't have to deal with this." Times like these is when I'm glad I have Taylor by my side.

My phone rings cutting us out of our moment and I pull away looking at the caller ID just to see the one person I didn't want to.

Kyle.

I turn showing Taylor my phone and I can see the anger come back to her eyes. I take a deep breath before answering the call.

"Hello." I say with as much strength as I can muster at the moment.

"Hey babe, where are you?" My heart breaks hearing him call me babe but I have to stay strong! It's then that I remember we were supposed to have a date tonight. I look at the clock and sure enough I'm 20 minutes late.

I turn to Taylor and she rubs my back giving me the strength I need for what I'm about to say next.

"Kyle, I want to break up." There was just silence on the other end as I realize what I just said.

"Why?" By the sound of his voice I could tell he was crying.

"It's just not working out, bye." I quickly hang up and throw my phone on the couch. If I hear his voice one more time I was going to lose it. Taylor comes and rubs my shoulders pulling me upstairs to her room. I sit down on the bed and she walks over to her closet.

"You know the best way to get over a break up is to have a little fun." She says holding up two outfits that showed off more than a little skin.
