I was completely taken back. He... He loves me? I mean we've only been together 2 months can he already he know he loves me.

"I-"

"You don't have to say it back. I didn't say it so you would I'm just telling you how I feel." He cuts me off giving me another one of his killer smiles.

I just nod as he pulls me into a warm embrace. Do I love him?

---------------------------------------------------------

After I left Kyle's yesterday I just spent the day in my room with my thoughts. I even turned down Taylor when she asked if I wanted to come over. I still feel awful about lying to her but it's for the best. Right? Or at least that's what I keep telling myself to ease the guilt.

I make my way inside the school doors and to my surprise I don't see Taylor waiting for me today. She's always here before me and she always waits until I get here.

Oh well maybe she's sick or just coming in late. I make my way to my locker alone and grab my first three period binders and walk to homeroom.

First and second period were complete bores. I just sat there doodling in my notebooks watching the time pass. Finally I reach history and a smile forms on my face as I see Taylor sitting in class.

"Hey girl." I take my seat just as Taylor turns around to face me.

"Hey." And with that short reply she turns back around to continue talking to who ever it was. I turn around just in time for Kyle to walk in and close the door. He looks my way and our eyes lock as the corners of his lips turn into a slight smile.

"Good morning class."

"Good morning Mr. Sorice." All the students say in unison.

People would be lying if they didn't say Kyle was there favorite teacher. He rarely gave us homework and for the most part he was understanding during class and was nice to everyone. I smiled as Kyle continued to do his thing in the front of the room and when the bell ring I was sad to see it end.

Taylor didn't even wait for me like she usually does. Oh well maybe she just figured I wasn't going to come seeing as I always stay after to ask questions.

"Nicole?" Kyle called after me. I was actually planning on going to talk to Taylor but I guess Kyle wanted to talk.

"Yup." I walked back to his desk and he waited until the last person left the room before he placed his feet up on his desk and reclined back.

"What can I help you with Mr. Sorice?" I smirked as I said this because he hates when I call him that.

"I wanted to talk to you about the fact that you failed the last test."

"What?" I take the test from his hands and look over it to see I missed at least three problems on every page.

"Hey it's ok I'd be happy to tutor you if you wanted." I look from the test just to see a smirking Kyle.

"We both know that if you tutored me we would get nothing done.

"On the contrary we would gets loads done. I just can't say any of it would involve history."

I laugh as I hand the test back and walk out the classroom with the smile still on my lips.

-----------------------------------------------------------

The end of the day came and I was glad when I saw Taylor at her locker. I've been waiting to talk to her all day but we don't have any other classes together.

"Hey."  I walk up next to her leaning against my locker.

"Bye." She tries to walk away but I grab her arm before she can.

"Wait. We need to talk. You've been cold to me all day and I want to know why." She turns to face me with that same angry look in her eyes.

"Ok you wanna talk? Fine come with me." She drags me along outside to the same place Kyle and I expressed our true feelings to one another.

I smile remembering the memory but it soon fades when Tyler looks me in the eye like she wants to kill someone.

"How was your night Saturday you know at home with your parents?" She stands with one hand on her hip and for Taylor this means business.

"It... it was good."

"Don't lie to me Nicole!" She shouts causing me to take a step back.

"I know what's up with you and Mr. Sorice ok? I saw it." She says a bit quieter and I'm relieve by that. But I'm also terrified. How did she see? If she saw who knows who else did?

"Taylor I can explain." I plead with her but it's no use as she turns her back to me and walks back to the parking lot.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

I drive home as quickly as possible and soon I reach Taylor's house. I jump out the car and let myself in knowing her parents are still at work. I see her car in the driveway and I make my way to her room. I open it to reveal Taylor sitting on her bed with music playing from her IHome.

"Taylor." No response.

"TAYLOR." I shout louder but still no response.

I reach over and turn off her music.

"HEY!" She yells and tries to turn it back on but it's no use as I unplug it.

"Listen to me." She sits back and I take that as a sign she is willing.

"Ok so yes Kyle and I are together. And yes I have felt guilty everyday for keeping this from you but I had too. It was the only way I could be sure he was safe."

"You could have told me. You know I would never do anything to hurt you." She says a bit quieter.

I sit down on the end of the bed and face her.

"I know and I'm sorry I didn't. I really am. Could you ever forgive me?" I look at her begging for her to forgive me and when I see a small smile spread on her lips I knew she had.

"Ok I forgive you. Now tell me everything!"
