What Hurts The Most (Gwuncan)

Wednesday 1:52pm; "It was only just a dream"

When I got home I felt so tired that I didn't do my homework "no suprise there" instead I got home and fell right asleep... I had the weirdest dream ever.

I had a dream that Courtney was a beast and kidnapped me. So Duncan came as my hero to save me, it was such a childish dream yet it felt so realistic. I mean Courtney might not look like a beast... but she is one at least to me she is. I don't even know why I was even dreaming about Duncan, he is taken by Courtney and I gotta face that fact, even if it kills me.

----- Duncan's P.O.V

I don't know why Gwen is acting so weird... but what's even weirder than Gwen's behavior lately is the dream I had about her...

Last night I had a dream... not just any dream but a dream about Gwen... and Courtney. To cut the dream short Courtney kidnapped me I don't know how but she did, and Gwen came to my rescue... instead of Courtney shooting me, Gwen took the bullet for me. If dreams do come true... I don't want this one to come true.

All I could think about when I woke up was all my moments with Gwen. And finally it hit me Gwen is a big part of my life and I gotta show her that she is... but I can't cheat on Courtney, because that wouldn't be right.

*Gets ready for school*
"If only I knew who made school" I said putting on my shoes.

--- A few hours later...

The whole school day I couldn't help but think about Gwen all day. Including when I am with Courtney, all i could think about was Gwen...

*Courtney Grabs Duncan's arm and drags him to the lunch table*
"So babe how have you been?" Courtney said smiling at me. "Gwen..." I mumbled not realizing that I said that out loud. "Did you just say Gwen?" Courtney said a bit angry. "I said i'm good princess chill" I answered to her trying to calm her down. The whole lunch period I would glance over to Gwen but she never looked my direction.

--- Gwen's P.O.V

The whole lunch period I dazed off day dreaming about Duncan.

He hasn't talked to me all day. I guess 'goth girl' is a weirdo to him too...

I noticed him looking at me once at lunch, I guess he was laughing inside or something. I don't know why a guy like him makes such an impact in my life... I mean's he's just a guy... right?

*After lunch*

I hugged Leshawna before she went off to her class and I picked up the trash we had left on the table. Right before I was about to go to my next class the devil came and pulled me by the shoulder.

Courtney: "Goth Girl, how many times have I told you to stay away from whats mine?"
Not gonna lie that triggered me but I kept my cool...
Gwen: "First off, it's Gwen okay? Im not sure if your brain is working right now but you better remember my name from now on got it?"
Courtney: *Laughs* "Look goth girl just because my boyfriend use to hang out with you doesn't mean you stand a chance with him he doesn't date weirdos"
As soon as she finished talking I couldn't stand it... I had to beat the shit out of her.

"MY! NAME! IS! GWEN!" I said pounding her with punches to the face.
And to her rescue came the ALL MIGHTY DUNCAN "Yay..."

"GWEN!" Duncan called out from behind me, grabbing me by the waiste and putting me on his shoulder. "Put me down Juvie!" I said punching his back. "Thank god you came babe this weirdo tried to kill me" Courtney said as duncan holded out his hand to help her up. "Courtney as much as I care about you, and I like being with you, i've lost feelings for you" Duncan told Courtney. As soon as I heard thoughs words escape Juvie's lips I stopped punching and stayed still, and Juvie put me down. "YOU'RE breaking up with ME? I AM A C.I.T! I'm SO going to call my lawyer!" Courtney said dramatically as she stormed off. The Principle came a few minutes after and gave Duncan and I detention for 'skipping'... yay me.
