A...a.. Angel of Death? I stammer out, hoping I just heard the voice wrong. I swear if it had a face it would've seriously rolled his eyes.

Must I repeat myself. The voice asked me in annoyance. I shake my head and sit down on the ground.

I'm sorry... I just... I sigh laying on my back, staring up at the glistening moon. It's a lot to take in.

Well... Yes. It is a lot to take in but pretty soon you'll have your memories back... Hopefully..

Speaking of my memories.. I ask, a small thread of hope blossoms inside of me. Do you know what happened to them?

Wish I did. It responds and the hope that I had disappears. But I know just as much as you do, except a little less. Since I did wake up yesterday from my long slumber.

We both sat in silence for the longest time. The crickets were singing their night songs while the stars danced up in the sky so majestically.

The sound of a branch snapping jerks me straight up.  Even the crickets suddenly fell silent. I glance in the direction that the noise came from but there was no one there. However that didn't stop the hairs on the back of my neck from standing up.

What the hell was that? Even the voice was feeling uneasy.

I have no idea. But I can tell you, whatever it was definitely was not human or animal.

Could it be?

Definitely not them. I didn't dare to breathe as I concentrate on hearing even the faintest of leaves crackling. But all that responded back to me was unease silence.

As if it sensed my unsettlement, a small white wolf trotted out from behind the trees. I let out the small breath I had been holding and rolled my eyes. It was really embarrassing how I was scared over a simple wolf.

It's injured. Dark says softly as I caught a glimpse of its right hind leg matted with blood. It let out a whine and fell on its side panting in pain.

Should we kill it? No sooner did I say those words the wolf started to glow. I step back, confused as to what exactly was going on. Suddenly I was blinded by a white glow. As quickly as it came the bright light faded within seconds. And to my horror a small teenager laid unmoving. His bloody clothes were rip to shreds and barely clinging to his body. His blood stained dark blue hair was matted across his dirty, sweaty face.

Before I could move or end utter a word, the boy lifts his head off the ground weakly. Something inside me stirs with uneasiness as my brown eyes stare into one hazel colored eye and one red one. And what the boy utters out next slowly breaks my heart.

"Please," he whispers. "Please.. Just kill me.."
