Chapter Five, New Clothes

LOKI'S P.O.V

I chuckle at her comment. To be honest I have no idea where I sent her clothes they're probably drifting in one of the nine realms.

"Wait here, I'll be right back, why don't you have a shower because quite frankly my dear you stink" I say pointing to my bathroom door.

She looks taken aback at my comment, I just smirk and say "don't even think about leaving this room, I have guards outside, when you've cleansed yourself I'll allow you to go out on the balcony, but that's all, see you soon my pet."

As I start to walk away I can feel her looking at me confused, just a while ago she was in Odin's chambers begging for a room and now she's about to shower in my private bathroom. I'm quite confused myself usually I would have sent her to the servants quarters but there's something which draws me to her, I just want to keep her around me always, why do I feel like this? I ask myself. As I leave the room I tell the guard to not let her out of my room, then I set off down the hall.

ARIA'S P.O.V

He's gone. I'm still processing the events of what has just happened, I realise Loki was right I really need a wash. I'd never had a shower before, I'd only had baths, we couldn't afford a shower.

As I walk into the bathroom I'm amazed, it's bigger than my old living room and everything's gold and very grand.

There is a blue handle and a red handle I'm guessing this is what colour the water is going to be. And a plus and minus I have no idea what they are why would anyone want to do maths while washing? I wonder to myself.

Red is my favourite colour so I turn that handle all the way then I turn the plus one all the way too, I undress ( in what little clothes I had on).

I step in.

I scream out loud the water is boiling hot and coming down really hard, I jump out, slip and I bang my knee on the sink, it really kills.

Before I know it Loki's running in, he turned off the water and he looked at me on the floor, he lay me on the bathmat and said "what happened?"

"I don't know how to use a shower" I say idiotically. Instead of laughing, he just looked at me and spent the the next ten minutes teaching me how to work the shower. When we were done I asked him "how did you know I was in trouble?" he said "the guard told me he heard screaming, now let me look at that leg of yours". He puts his cold hands on my knee, it's very soothing but I still flinch. "it's ok" he reassures "I know what to do". As he takes his hand away my leg feels no pain and the bruise has gone, he sees the shock on my face he says as he got up and helped me up "mother taught us how to heal from a young age" as he walks out the door he says "you look absolutely ravishing out of clothes" he says with a wink, and I blush as he leaves the room. I completely forgot I was naked, oh well what's done is done.

I just got out of the shower and I'm in the most comfortable dressing gown I found on the door.

I leave the bathroom and take a moment to admire the room, I can't believe how massive it is, all gold, with hints of green, I'm guessing that's his favourite colour since it's all around and that's the colour of his armour. I'm walking through the balcony double doors and as I step out I'm amazed.

The view of Asgard is absolutely breathtaking, I've lived here my entire life I've looked at it but I've never really seen it. The gold, the buildings, the tall towers, and the rainbow bridge, that's my favourite part, the rainbow bridge is just beautiful, I wish I could go there just sit on the beautiful colours, maybe go and visit the legendary Heimdall.

"Beautiful view isn't it?"

I jumped Loki scared me, how can he just sneak up on me like that

"Breathtaking" that word was all I could stutter.

"Come to the bed I have some things for you" Loki points me in the right direction. I find it hard to tear myself away from the view.

On the bed are the most beautiful clothes I've ever laid eyes on, this reminds me of a midgardian tale my mother used to tell me called Cinderella, she had rags for clothes at first but then a handsome prince gave her some beautiful clothes that's just like me. The first thing I notice is that they all have a hint of green, there's a green floor length dress with a gold belt and detailed patterns at the bottom. There's also a beautiful gold shawl and a green knee length dress, there are a few other bits aswell, I'm in awe.

"Well I thought you'd need a few changes of clothes" Loki says.

"Well I take it I'm staying then" I reply

"I certainly hope so, we have a lot to sort out my dear."

I see Aria yawning.

"Tired?" I ask

She nods.

"There are pyjamas in the drawer, then you can get into my bed.

I watch her sleep thinking how beautiful. I love lying next to her.
