"Come on Loki" Aria rushes him from the bathroom "I want to get to the market early"
"Coming dear!" he calls from the bathroom "I'm just brushing my hair"
She rolls her eyes, She's the girl and she got ready in half an hour.
Loki walks out, hair freshly brushed "ready darling?" She nods in reply "let's go then"
There going to the market to pick up some baby clothes, the palace maids can hand make some but Aria wanted some wholesome Asgardian clothes as well as the glamorous royal outfits.
They ride their horses to the edge of town where the market started.
The sea of shouting and selling from all the stall owners was taking Aria back to when she lived with her mother, she would go to the market to get food, clothes, anything she needed, most of the people knew her and her mother and quite a few of the marketers were at the funeral.
"Aria!" a voice comes from across the street, Loki grabs onto Aria's hand.
"Oh my Odin!" Aria screams letting go of Loki to run and embrace an elderly woman, wearing a dress made out of lots of different pieces of old rags, but she had a warm face.
"Magda, long time no see" Aria exclaims
"I know, I haven't seen you since the funeral" her face saddens "how've you been?"
Loki shifts around awkwardly.
"Well I'm coping, and I've kept myself occupied" she smiles and grabs Loki's hand.
"Well, well, I can see that, no other than Loki the prince of Asgard" she waggles her eyebrows playfully
Aria and Loki laugh.
"What are you two doing round these parts? Magda asks
"Well" Aria smiles at Loki "we're baby shopping" Magda gasps with joy "it's twins"
"Congratulations!" she pulls them both into a massive hug
Aria laughs at Loki's face, he's caught off guard with the hug
"I'll leave you to it, come visit more" she waves "and Loki" he turns around "take good care off her"
"Don't worry lady Magda, I'll protect her to my last Asgardian breathe, I love her more than there are stars in the sky"
They walk off.
"So who was that?" Loki asks
"That was Magda, the nicest woman you'll ever meet, she used to babysit me when my mother worked late"
"Oh" Loki nods
As they walk arm in arm through the market Aria was getting many waves and smiles, Loki was also getting waves but also bows and cheering, Odin's spell was still working.
They picked up a few items but nothing really caught her eye.
"Aria!" a familiar voice enters my ears, a voice which makes me taste blood and want to smash something.
"Hello Blagdr" I say drly, arm still linked to Loki's
"Long time no see, what was it? two years now?" He says striding towards me, what did I ever see in him? compared to Loki he looks like a deformed pig.
"Two years too soon" I mutter under my breath
I can't believe he's here in front of me, I vowed the next time I saw him I's make him feel as awful as I felt, and let's just say I'm more than tempted.
