"Thanos"

Thors mind was racing, memories flashed back and forth behind his eyes, so many thought rushed through his head, he was completely amazed by the fact that his nanny was stood directly across from him. There were so many things he wanted to ask her, talk to her about, but considering the situation. Now wouldn't be the best time.

The air was thick, complete ear shattering silence, the residents on the table all wore glum faces. Even though some of the people on the table hadn't known Elizabeth for long It was strange for them to notice the joyful and playful aura Elizabeth usually carries around with her wasn't there at the moment.

Elizabeth was already in deep, quicker than she thought she had ever thought, growing attached to the people around her already was specifically unhealthy, especially considering if history repeated itself, they'd only have a few years together.

Steve was still in his uniform, slouched in a chair around a triangle like table, still going over the events that had happened today, Natasha was sat on the opposite end of said table, hands intertwined in front of her, her face expressionless but inside there was a whirl wind of emotions playing out, Bruce was positioned a few places to the right of Steve - very antsy and nervous, Thor stood at the end of the table in deep thought, arms crossed, a frown upon his face. Elizabeth rest against the side of her TARDIS - which was in front of the SHIELD emblem in the room.

After a while, a screen flicked on, flat on the table, Elizabeth walked over quickly to move it with her power, so everyone could see the screen, it turned into a hologram, which baffled the logical scientist - Bruce Banner.

Fury was interrogating Loki, it was strange seeing the two interact, Loki was so different and Fury was acting as if he knew everything. Something was really wrong, Elizabeth only had her suspicions because she refused to believe he wasn't as sweet hearted as he was as a child. It was then something clicked in her head, something she never really payed much attention to before but now she had caught a glimpse of something.

"Oh my god" she muttered aloud confusing her newly found friends.

She got up quickly, leaving a wave of purple magic behind her, teleporting to the cell Loki was being held in.

"ant - boot"

The floor disappeared beneath her, a strangled yelp escaped her lips, gaining both Lokis and Fury's attention - she let out her pure angelic wings accidentally, managing to catch herself. The floor closed again, letting her set back down on the ground. Fury dismisses himself quickly, Elizabeth eyes following as he walked out possibly towards the room everyone else resides in.

Everyone was silent on the other side of the camera, her wings surprising each and every one of them.

"Hey" she spoke softly, walking carefully towards the glass cage, apprehensive of the retractable floor.

"Hello Lady Elizabeth" he spoke gently.

"How is it in there?" She asked him, tilting her head forward, hinting to the turmoil in his head.

"Peachy" he replied sarcastically, a harsh tone striking through. His eyes shone a vibrant blue briefly, it was then her suspicions earlier became true.

In the board room, Thor let out a puzzled sound, catching the attention of everyone else in the room.

"He is never rude to Lady Elizabeth, yeah he's definitely changed, but he wouldn't disrespect her at all" Thor queried.

"No Loki - you know that I meant, in here" she spoke, tapping her temple.

His hard facade broke, the small little Loki she held on the Heli-carrier breaking surface once again, his guard had been let down, the agent guards surrounding them turned looking with surprise.

"How did you know?" his voice cracked, walking up to the glass, placing his hand on it, leaning his head on it and closing his eyes, his heavy sighs, fogging the glass slightly.

Elizabeth placed her hand on his, pushing slightly so her body fazed through the glass, she lightly pushed on Loki's hand, so he walked backwards towards the centre of the cage, they both sat criss cross on the floor, knees touching.

"I can see it Loki, your eyes have always been a light shade of blue, when you snap at me they become an odd electric blue, as blue as the tesseract" She spoke softly, placing her hand gently on his bicep.

"Why do you care?!" He shouted suddenly, standing up and putting space between them. His eyes a prominent blue, all traces of Loki gone.

Elizabeth sighed, standing up herself, slowly hoping to not provoke him even more, her mind raced looking for someone who would want to control the Norse god. Coming to a fate changing conclusion, she soon settled on a god, a power hungry monstrous man.

"Thanos! Let me talk to Loki!" She threatened, a terrifying edge to her voice - Loki's body stopped moving all together, he was a statue.

"It is not your choice whether you talk with him or not, nor is it his. You get him when I'm busy planning my world destruction" he spoke robotically, no trace of emotion. Loki collapsed to the floor soon after, Elizabeth manoeuvred quickly towards him, putting his head on her lap. His eyes fluttered open, a kind light blue.

"You okay?" She spoke quickly, making sure his eyes stayed solely on her.

"Why do you care about me so much? I mean everyone has already abandoned me" he spoke sadly and to some extent that was true, Odin practically disowned him, Thor was always most important, he was a just a shadow.

"Oh Loki" she sighed "You honestly mean the world to me, the whole galaxy. I would do anything for you, obviously within reason" she chuckled, attempting to lighten the mood.

"So why did you leave me and Thor" his voice showed so much sadness it was breaking the Time lords hearts. A child's innocence seeping through.

"Your father banished me Loki" she muttered quietly, ashamed about her confession.

Anger, sadness and pain ran across Loki's face "W - what why?

She sighed heavily, weighing out the pros and cons of telling him why she had to go. Why she was forced to leave. Before she continued, Elizabeth brought Loki to sit back up, crossing both there legs.

"Odin said that I had gotten to close to his sons. That I was a bad influence on you both, because of my playful personality, apparently it wasn't right to have around the heirs to the throne. Another reason was because of my powers, Odin seemed to believe that I would only bring you both harm and when he saw that you had powers, and saw I was helping you, he was furious, for some strange reason - and now we're here" Taking a shaky breath to try and calm herself, a few tears had already slipped from her glassy eyes.

Loki was even more saddened by this, and before he could think of what he was saying it had already slipped out.

"Will you adopt me?"

But all to soon he could feel his consciousness slipping away, he knew his eyes changed because Elizabeth's eyes widened in awareness, she shuffled closer to him, kissed his forehead and muttered "Fight him Loki, I believe in you". Then she left, leaving a puff of purple magic in her place.

"He really grows on you doesn't he" Bruce muttered as soon as Elizabeth was back in the room.

"Loki's gonna drag this out" Steve replied, followed by "So Thor, what's his play?" Elizabeth shot him a look, Steve cleared his throat.

"Uh - I mean - the mind control thing - um the guy - Thanos? Yeah. His play" he rambled flustered, quite embarrassed.
