Ryder POV

I woke up feeling happy, I'm his. Officially. Today is the day of my announcement, I sighed through my nose. Am I ready for this? Am I ready to become a mother to this pack? I got up and took a quick shower, I went to Kayden's walk-In closet and wore his basketball shorts and Big hoodie. The hoodie was way too big on me, the end of the sweater was to my knees and the shorts were way to big also. Luckily there were strings so I can tie them so it won't fall. Then an bitter scent went inside my nose.

"Rouges" I growled, I ran to his balcony and saw a rouge on Kayden's backyard. I jumped off his balcony and landed perfectly on my feet

"What do you want rouge?" I said coldly

"Master said to join him or else" he said

"Or else what?" I spat

"He'll drug your precious little mate of yours" He said

"You wouldnt" I said

"I wouldn't but he would" the rouge pointed another rouge on the balcony. When did he get up there? He must have snuck in when I was sleeping, he had a needle in his hand and I knew what was in that needle. Sliver. My eyes widen, I heard the pack of rouges surrounding me. I can't fight them off, but once I yell for Kayden, it'll be too late. That rouge would have injected him. The rouge walked inside and I panicked

"No! Leave him alone, I'll go. Just don't touch him" I said

"I thought we would have put up a fight, how disappointing" the rouge said he did a hand motion and two rouges grab my arms and carried me all the way there. I was trying to remember the way they were taking me, because they weren't smart enough to blind me. I put on a scared innocent expression on my face, I was trying to think of a plan to get out of this problem. I elbowed one of the rouges and they let go of my arm, I punch the other one that was grabbing my arm. I ran forward and I got punched in the jaw until blood came out my mouth. I spit the blood on the ground, They grab hold of me again decided to blind me and I heard a door creak open in the direction I spit out my blood but I didn't see a house when I wasn't blind folded. Could this place be underground? I felt myself descending. It was under ground, they carried me to a room and I heard sobbing and whimpering. All different sounds but one thing alike about it. They were all girls.

Kayden POV

I woke up alone on my bed, I smiled she's probably looking around the house. I got up and put shorts on, I walked around the house, it was empty. My heart sank, did she leave me again? She told me she love me! was she lying? I felt a pain in my chest, I didn't want to feel again, I grab my phone and dial Samuel's number

"Go for Sam" he said

"Ryder left me again!" I said immediately

"Whoa! wait how do you know?" he asked

"I mated her last night and I fell asleep with her and I woke up and she's gone! How can she do this to me!" I said I ran my hand through my hair, I was pacing back and forth in my kitchen.

"Calm down, you call Demi and i'll check if she's around the area" he said

"Alright" I said and hung up I dial Demi's number and she answers

"Kayden?" she said

"Is Ryder there?!" I said frantically

"No why?"

"She not here! she left me" I said

"Alright. I'll wait for her to see if she's on her way, don't worry she's not hurt" she reassured me I hung up. I couldn't take it, I got out and went to the pack house that wasn't to far from here.
