Chapter 9!! The story will start going faster from here and I'm super excited for it! Can't wait to share all the things i have coming :)
- A little bit heads up: When I mention Dilara wears Hijab, that's one part of her religion and it means she covers her outer beauty, I guess I could say, that's why she wears covered clothing like cardiagans and jeans that cover her most her skin. Also, her scarf, which is a big part. But these are all just apart of the religion. Enjoy! -zahra
Chapter 9
Dilara POV
"So what time does this party start?" Camille questions while I make breakfast. After I had woken up about 11 this morning I was starving because Camille and I only stuffed ourselves with junk-food while watching the movies last night.
"If you can drop me off maybe 8 in the evening, that would be good." I looked back at her while she tried to prepare breakfast on the small island counter in the middle of the kitchen.
"And will you need a ride back?" She asked sort of nervously this time and I couldn't help but ask her what was bothering her. After frying both the eggs I placed them on a plate and turned off the stove to site by the counter.
"Well, um, never mind." She pushed away her answer, but I quickly brought it back up.
"What is it? Please tell me." I direct to her with a smile and her blue eyes slowly came to mine.
"I have a... date tonight." My eyes opened in shock, how did she ever not mention a guy coming her into her life? Maybe she wanted to keep her love life a secret? No she's not good at keeping them though.
"Why didn't you tell me?! I'm really happy for you!" I told her, she was so sweet and I always wondered why she never got married so I wanted to encourage her in finding someone to come into her life.
"I never knew you were interested!" Camille replied back, and come to think of it, I never brought this topic up, so I could see why she never told me.
"Wait, oh my gosh, I'm not keeping you from the date am I? I'm so sorry!" I quickly apologized. She actually agreed to watch me for the weekend while my parents were gone and drop me off at the party knowing she had a date; man she's so kind.
"No, no! I knew you were going to the party, and luckily it's perfect to the schedule so It will all work out. When I drop you off, I'm going to head to the restaurant he told me to meet him at. We will also watch a movie that I heard was almost 2 and half long; then I could come pick you up by then." She assures me as she takes a bite into her toast and fork a piece of a fried egg into her mouth.
"Are you sure? I mean I don't want you to be late for the dinner or anything?" I question her, making sure I wouldn't be ruining her plans.
"Yes, don't worry he told me himself that he was going to get there late, around 8:30 ish." She gives me a smile and I nod at the plan.

The day was going by quick, as I got ready for the party tonight. I had texted Jasmine making sure I got the address to her cousin's party event. It was at a hotel, which was pretty cool. I got a little nervous of how it was going to be. Was there going to be a lot of people? Maybe I shouldn't even go; I mean I only knew jasmine. Well she did tell me some other people from our class were invited, but I barely knew them. They were all just acquaintances.
When I told my best friend, Sandra she said I wouldn't get to attend many parties, so why not just go and have a good time. But there was one thing was in the back of my mind that worried me. Jasmine was half Muslim, and when she said she thought, "there will be no guys at the party," I hoped she meant it. After all, it was her cousin's party, I'm sure Jasmine knew whether or not there would be guys there. And she did know I was religious when it came to those things.
