Everything Happens For A Reason

Janet and I went to the first floor to meet Josh since our lockers were right next to each other's and we basically have all the same classes together. I cleaned up pretty well and it doesn't really look like I was crying.

"He fucking said no?! What the fuck! I'm gonna need this motherfucker up!" Josh yelled as soon as he saw me and Janet.

"Josh, calm down. It's not a big deal," I tried calming him.

"No Pay, it's not fine! He made you cry!" He basically screamed. But how did he?

"How did you know what happened?"

"I was standing the opposite corner of Janet. I had to know what he said," Tears started filling my eyes again.

"Josh-" He pulled me into his arms.

"It's okay Pay, we'll get through this together,"

"Okay," I cried in his arms.

"Come on, the bell it's gonna ring soon," he said then we walked to our lockers.

Today's Monday so I have drama, English, art, music then lunch. Ugh. Why does lunch have to be so far away? Josh and I got done at our lockers and were the first two in Miss Jackson's room. The other students all came early too so class started before the bell today.

"Good morning class, today we will start on the scene when Chad and Payton meet since Payton isn't ill anymore," Miss Jackson announced to the class. Again, Chad wasn't here so Josh took his place.

"Start when the bell rings," The director, Gerard, started as soon as the bell was done.

" Justine and James are walking on opposite sides of the hallway. James is too caught up with the other jocks and Justine is busy reading over her poem. They bump into each other and instantly fall in love. ACTION!"

"Umf!" I say falling. I looked up into Josh's eyes. "Oh, uh sorry, I didn't mean it! I swear!" I acted as if I was scared of him.

"No, uh, it's cool. It was my fault. I wasn't watching," He helped pick up my books and then Gerard directed us to do the most cliche thing ever. We both went to grab the same book and touched hands. We looked up at each other and almost kissed but one of the jocks yelled his name and Josh flinched.

"I'm James. Call me sometime," he handed me a small piece of blank paper that was supposed to have his number on it.

"And cut!" Gerard yelled. "That was great! Very good acting. Almost as if it were real!" Gerard said as if he didn't know Josh and I, wait. No one knows about me and Josh. They only think we are still best friends, until Josh leaned over and kissed my cheek. Everyone awed then Gerard made us redo the scene until the bell rang.

"Good job guys. Josh, I am now making you the lead roll since Chad hasn't been here. I even checked with miss J " Gerard smiled and Josh and i left the classroom. Now to English.

The next three classes passed very quickly, with me only throwing up once in art. It was too loud for anyone to notice, so I didn't get sent to the nurse. But now it's lunch. I met Janet and Josh at my locker.

"Hey babe," Josh said as he leaned down and kissed me with more passion than ever.

"Josh?" I was confused why he's doing this all if a sudden.

"Joey was just-"

"No Josh. I don't care how much shit he has put us through, be the bigger person!" Yes, of course I want to get back at Joey, just not yet. Josh growled at me then said okay quietly. We intertwined our fingers and that seemed to get some people's attention. They just looked as we walked into the lunch room. They act like they've never seen anyone hold hands before. I sat down at our usual table and turned to Jessi.
