Chapter 15
We walk off to see Ted and Sydney, they look pretty pleased.
“That was amazing you two,” Sydney whispers.
“Keep that up and there will be absolutely no suspicion that this is all a fake.” Ted continues.
Harry looks over at me before saying,
“Yup just acting.”
I smile and look back at Sydney who continues,
“Alright, now Claudia go back to Harry’s loft. And make sure you’re seen.”
We just nod as Ted and Sydney go off to talk to the interviewer.
Harry comes up to me and lays out his hand for me.
I say,
“Shall we?” with a smile,
“We shall.” He replies.
With that we walk off to his car.
As soon as we open the door there are paparazzi everywhere. There’s a small opening in the middle, kind of like one you’d see at the red carpet. Lights flashing in my eyes, I cover my face with my arm and try to get through the crowd. Although we had some space people kept trying to get closer. Harry let’s go of my hand and grabs my by the waist, helping me get through all those people. Questions like,
“So you two are official?!”
“Where are you guys going?!”
Are being screamed at me and I don’t know what to do.
“We’re almost there.” Harry says.
As we get farther back the flashing stops and instead there are screaming girls. Some around my age, some younger. They’re wearing One Direction T-Shirts and are holding signs. I even thing I saw a sign with my name on it. So many girls are holding out pens and cameras trying to get a picture or signature.
I stop, and look at Harry who looks back at me.
“What are you waiting for?
“Harry they came all the way here for you, at least say hi to them.” I say signaling to the fans.
He turns around and waves with a smile.
With that the girls started screaming a bit louder. Some were even crying. I give Harry a little push and tell him to greet some fans.
As he walks over to say hi and sign some CD’s I stand there just smiling at him. I know how horrible it feels to wait for your idol and never even get to see them. I know how much Harry and One Direction mean to these girls.
I overheard some girl asking him where the boys are. He said back at home.
Now he’s taking pictures with some fans. These pictures will make some of their lives. My train of thought is interrupted when a girl says,
“HARRY! GET CLAUDIA! I WANT A PICTURE WITH BOTH OF YOU!”
I’m slightly shocked but walk over and Harry and I stand with her in the middle of us. I smile and the camera flashes. This feels so… weird.
I turn around to go back to the car but a couple of girls stop me,
“Claudia!!! We’re your biggest fans!! We’ve been watching you on youtube for the longest time oh my god!” The one with the blonde hair says.
I just smile at her kind of confused. Some people were here for me too..?
“Wow that’s amazing to hear! Thank you so much!” I say with a huge smile.
