As we walk in there’s a couch on one end of the room. Me and Harry both take a seat and the interviewer sits opposite of us. Then Sydney and Ted walk in an stand behind the camera. Ted mouths, “SIT CLOSER”
And with that Harry puts one hand around my hip and pulls me closer to him, I giggle and cuddle up to him.
Then Harry mouths back, “IS THIS BETTER?”
Ted just does a thumbs up.
With that the interviewer says,
“Alright, so this is a live interview, and we’ll be connected to twitter where some fans can ask you guys questions later on, that okay?”
“Yeah sounds fine” Harry says,
“Okay we’re going live in 3… 2…1” The interviewer says. Suddenly I get nervous. I think Harry noticed cause he rubs his thumb on my shoulder and whispers, “it’s okay babe”
“Alright welcome to E! news live broadcast, I am here with Harry Styles from the band One Direction, and his girlfriend, also known as YouTubes recent succession, Claudia Diaz!”
We wave into the camera and say hi.
“So you two, there’s been a lot of rumours regarding your relationship going around recently, it’d been driving the media crazy, and our twitter is just full of questions about you guys! Can we get an official confirmation of your relationship right now live?” She says with enthusiasm.
Harry looks at me before saying with a smile,
“Uh, yes. We’re dating.”
“Did you hear it girls? Harry is officially off the market. Now with that, let me just clear up some confusion, Claudia, you said in a recent interview with E! that you and Harry were just acquaintances, can you clear that up?” Sydney told me what to say if asked about that so I just say,
“Well we were trying to keep it a secret at the time. It wasn’t anything serious just hanging out, and I didn’t want any assumptions before we were.. you know, officially dating.” I end with a smile.
“Ah yes that makes sense, and also there are a lot of… fans of Harry’s that would be upset over their idol having a girlfriend correct?”
“Well yeah, but I haven’t seen much hate to be honest, I know word just came out yesterday of our relationship but I honestly haven’t seen anything.” It was probably because I don’t have a twitter though, if I had one, things would be different.
Harry continues with,
“Yeah, and I think if my girls are supportive of me, and my music, they’d be supportive of my personal life.” It’s so cute how he calls his fans my girls.
“Ah I see, and Harry, have you seen any hate towards your relationship on twitter or something along those lines?” She asks,
“Well, there are always people who don’t necessarily like the fact I have a girlfriend, but I think most are respectful.” He answers.
“And Claudia, do you have an official twitter? Because there have been some fakes.”
“Wow there are fakes of me? I didn’t know. Well I had a twitter but I had to delete it when I moved to L.A and I’m actually working on creating and verifying one with my manager, so when I do make one I’ll have Harry tell you!” I say smiling at Harry.
“Her twitter name will be @HarryIsMySnugglyPoo.” He says with a smirk.
I just laugh and say,
“Only if yours is @SnugglyPoo” We laugh to ourselves then remember we’re live, and we collect ourselves.
“Well you two seem to get along very well! Now, also released to the press yesterday was news of a new single collab with Claudia and One Direction? Is this true?” She says,
“Yes, it is, our managers have been working together and it just became official yesterday.” Harry says. This all feels very weird. We had no idea about the single before yesterday either but we were told to talk about it as if it’s been something that’s been going on for a while. Publicity can be so complicated.
“Also, Claudia will be opening for One Direction on their second Up All Night tour in the U.S correct?”
“Yeah it was actually supposed to be Lily, but she had to cancel, and since the whole thing with the single was going on, I was asked to do it, and I said I’d be happy to!” I say.
“Well must be fun having your girlfriend on tour with you right Harry?” she says,
Then Harry just looks at me and smirks,
“Yeah. Fun.” he says.
I start blushing and I can feel my cheeks burning.
“Alright, well, now I guess we can move on to some fan questions.” She says while scrolling on the computer,
“Okay we have a question from BriannaHearts1D682. She wants to ask Claudia, how does it feel dating a member of one direction?”
I really don’t know how to answer this. I think about it for a minute then say,
“Well, if I’m being honest, after the initial thought of dating a member of one direction, it just turns into a normal relationship. What I mean is, you date a person because you like them, not because they’re famous.” Harry just smiles at me the entire time.
“Yeah… You want someone that wants you for you.” Harry adds still looking at me.
“Very true! Now, from Darcy_Styless5, Harry, what about your current girlfriend caught your eye?” she asks,
Then he looks at me and looks back at the camera,
“Well, obviously her beauty caught my eye. But, after that, it was her laugh, then her smile, then its just the way she is.” then he looks back to me and holds my hand,
“she’s perfect.” I can’t help but blush.
“You two are just so adorable!” she says.
We laugh and then Harry says thank you while looking into my eyes,
“Alright well we’re actually running out of time! But we have time for one more question. This one will be from 1DMeetEmma, How does Louis feel about your relationship Harry?”
I giggle to myself while Harry sits up and looks around,
“Uhm, well, all the boys are supportive of us yeah.” he says while smirking.
“Are you sure Louis won’t have any… Special feelings?” she asks,
“We’ve discussed this I think he approves.” Harry says.
“Haha, well alright, now, before we go! Can you two kiss for us?” she says,
I look over at Harry who looks over at me. He then looks at my lips, and puts a hand on my cheek, he leans in and kisses me softly for a little while. It was so sweet. When he pulls away the interviewer goes,
“Awe well you two seem to be doing well! This has been E! News thank you all for watching!”
Harry is still looking at me.
“We need to do that more often.” he says right before we get up and walk towards the door.
