Rays POV

I sat at a table disguised, menu in front of my face. I was ready to order food, and I was ready to confront the woman I had came here to see.

After a minute or so I saw her walking towards my table.

"Good afternoon, welcome to Zips Diner are you ready to give me your order?"

I slowly, (and dramatically) put my menu down.

"Ray?" Naomi looked absolutely shocked.

"What do you think you're doing here?" She quietly yelled and looked over her shoulder.
"You have no business here."

"Oh, but I think I do." I told her. I motioned for her to have a seat.

Naomi and I were dating for about 6 months I met her here once when I was on vacation. Everything was great, we were in the honeymoon stage and all lovey dovey... until  I found out she was a fraud..and a con artist.

She stole all my money from the shop and ran away with it. She also found out a way to get to the safe and stole the investments from Junk N' Stuff. 20,000 dollars. Not to mention my heart! It was absolutely crushed. Henry didn't know we dated and I really don't want to tell him either. So, I was giving her the chance, as Ray and not Captain Mann to find a way to work this out, for her to give me the money back.

She looked around her eyes darted back and forth.
"Follow me." She said.
We went to the kitchen through the back.

"Now what the heck do you think you are doing?" She asked wiping her hands on her apron.

"I think you know why exactly why I'm here Naomi!" I snapped back, she wanted to play the innocent game.

"Last time I checked Ray, we were broken up! I believe it was mutual." She gave a sly smile and I held a hard steady glare at her.

"I want my money back 20,000 dollars of savings is a LOT of money so I suggest you find a way to repay me."

She sneered crossing her arms.

"I don't know what you're-"
I cut her off and showed her the surveillance footage from my phone.

"You stand corrected." I told her now pacing back and forth. She looked a little bewildered and that was exactly what I needed.

"So why don't you go to the police," she threatened raising an eye. "You obviously have proof, why hunt me down and drag it in the mud?" Her arms were still crossed. Tightly.

"For me, these were on more...personal matters and therefore instead of throwing you in jail right this second I'm giving you a chance."  I paced through the small alley.

"So I'll give you 2 months, because it's looking like you make pretty good money." I eyed her Jimmy Choo heels.

She unfolded her arms and walked towards me.

"Ray...sweetie."

She touched my arm, her eyes big and wide. Her brown locks swept across her shoulder and the smell of her perfume..

No.

I can't fall for her trap, she nothing but a fraud.
