Chapter 10

I opened the front door to see Char standing there with a shocked look on her face.

"Why would you guys do this?" She practically screamed.

"I promise, it wasn't me!" I said letting her in the house.

"Yeah, well you guys sure do need to figure out who it was, that's crazy."

"It must've happened sometime after mom and dad left." I said going out back door to get the nozzle for the hose, that was in the shed. Piper and Charlotte followed me.

"Well yeah obviously, we would've woken up hearing some screams." Piper pointedly remarked.

"She's right there," Charlotte said.

We all went back to the front of the house, and I put on the nozzle with the setting of jet on the hose.

"Can you guys pick up any big eggshells you see while I try to...spray this yolk off the grass."

"Come on, let's get to it." Charlotte.

About an hour and a half later, we had finished the whole yard and we were tired.

We all sat on the couch, happy to be sitting.

"Now how do we figure out who did this?" I said as I held my head in my hands.

"I don't know, can we? It's not like we have cameras on our security system." Piper said, checking her phone.

I then, just remembered that guy who I stopped at the robbery.

Then I remembered that Ray wanted me to meet up with him for a new plan.

"Oh my gosh I forgot!" I quickly stood.

"What?" Charlotte said looking up at me.

I grabbed my jacket and was about to walk out the door.

"I forgot that I needed to meet up with Ray, stay with Piper until I get back? Thanks." I rushed out the door.

It was about 2:00, when I got to the Man Cave.

I saw Ray was still sleeping and I started shaking him to wake up.

"Come on! You wanted to talk!" I yelled to him.

You have to be really loud to get him up sometimes.

He quickly sat up, looking confused.

"Huh, What?"

I sat down next to him,

"You wanted to tell me a new plan or something like that."

He sat up and rubbed his eyes.

"Ohh, yes, yes, I've figured out..some sort of a plan."

"Well get on with it, I left Charlotte with Piper."

"Oh that's not good, well I'll be brief."

"Okay," I said.

"I think we should go back to Maine."

What! That's crazy we literally just got back and i don't think it was in our best interest.

"Why? It makes no sense." I said.

"Yes it does, but we need to stay longer, and I need YOU specifically to earn Naomi's trust."

I massaged my head.

"And what for exactly? I don't even know if my parents will allow me to go out for such a long time."

"I can deal with that." Ray gave a small smile.
"But the reason why I need you is because if you work at her store, you can gain information, and I don't want to involve the police, or PIs, this is more of a personal affair for me."

"So all this, for revenge?" I asked.

"You could easily lock her up! She committed a crime!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah but, I want this in my terms."

"I don't know if I want in this." I said standing up.

"At least think about it!" Ray said, I don't know when I plan to carry everything out, but you're my sidekick, and I need your help."

"Okay," I said, and I walked out.

On my home I wondered if I should help him.
We're not really even fighting crime, so it's not like an obligation. Personal affairs, exactly what he said.

I don't know, i just need a break.

Shorter Chapter, but I just really wanted to update.

I also changed all the chapter titles to
"Chapter 1, 2 3...." And so on.
